Ordered 3 month supply, can I increase my dose?

I was on wegovy and just switched to compounded a few weeks ago. I was on 1.7mg and decided to stay on it because it felt like the right dose, I’d been on that dose for 3 months or so. Even though I asked to stay on 1.7mg they actually prescribed me 2.0mg which I discovered after taking my first dose and using the calculator.

It’s my second week on the compounded this week and I have felt SO hungry and craving junk to the point where I feel like the meds didn’t work at all. Im eating more than I have on these meds and I still feel like I’m starving. I’m starting to wish I stayed on wegovy as I never felt this hungry since starting a glp1, even with the increased dose I was prescribed.

Can I increase? How does that work if I ordered 3 months worth of this certain dose, do I ask my Pom Health prescriber? Because I will run out sooner

Also, anybody else experience this?

Switching From Wegovy > compounded

I’m about 18lbs from my goal weight, lost ~50lbs so far. Now that I’m closer to my goal, I’m considering switching to compounded to save money since I pay $349 a month right now for Wegovy. Anybody have experiences switching? Should I stay on semaglutide? Should I switch to tirzepatide? Would love to hear experiences.

1.7mg Experiences

I’ve been on 1.7mg for 9 weeks (taking my 10th shot today). I titrated up every 4 weeks because I would always feel the food noise coming back at the end of the 4 weeks of the dose. When I started 1.7 it felt like a good dosing to be on. The longer I’ve been on it, the harder it is to eat. Some weeks seem okay and then others I feel repulsed by all food. I’ve been struggling to eat the most this week and my energy levels are quite low. At this point I plan to titrate down. Just looking to hear others experiences. Thank you.

PSA Amazon Auto Buy

I set up Amazon auto buy and I was able to get all the needohs I was looking for for my sons birthday party as well as some needohs for my niece that she asked for for her birthday!! So glad I don’t have to go to stores and hunt them down anymore. I didn’t know auto buy existed!

Fatigue and Sleepiness

So I’m a very busy person, I work full time and also take classes on top of having 2 kids, one in various activities. I’ve always thrived on busy-ness. I’m going into my third week of 1.7mg soon and ever since a few weeks into 1.0 I’ve been experiencing increased lethargy, low motivation, low energy, diminished interest in many things. Very apathetic. I realize this could be a multitude of things (lower caloric intake, deficiencies, glp1, stress) but I wasn’t feeling like this until 1.0. I’m struggling most days and I’m unsure if I can continue this way as it’s really affecting my life and I have a lot of responsibilities that can’t be put on hold.

I’m just looking for anybody who has gone through something similar, and I’m wondering if it improves over time or if I might have to consider coming off the medication. I feel like I have this feeling no matter what or how much or little I eat. I’ve been on wegovy for almost 4 months and I’ve titrated up according to the recommended schedule. I have lost about 28 lbs. FWIW I have lost weight before some years ago and did not experience this feeling. I did reach out to my provider and and going to test iron and TSH (i do have hypothyroidism that i regularly get tested every 3-6 months). Should I be requesting labs for anything else? That’s just what they told me. If anyone can relate, I’d appreciate your insights.
