Now that they’ve officially confirmed a Violet and Edmund prequel, how will they make it work with the timeline after she was shown as a teenager in the Queen Charlotte prequel? Unless of course they retcon Queen Charlotte to have taken place in the 1780s rather than the 1760s, instead of making the majority of Violet’s pregnancies happen in very advanced maternal age. Young Violet’s inclusion in Queen Charlotte gave me a headache knowing they were going to cash in on a Violet and Edmund prequel eventually, and I just couldn’t see how it could work with the show timeline.

Brianna willingly taking Mandy back to the 18th century was fucking crazy of her. I’m sorry but I genuinely do not care if all my family and friends were there—if I were a mother, I would not and could not in good faith take my very young daughter back to be raised in a time period where she would have no rights and be legally treated as the property of the main male figure in her life on account of her gender. And that’s not even getting into the potential diseases they could be exposed to without proper medicinal treatment, among various other things. Meanwhile Amy Lindsay got mauled to death by a bear on what was supposed to be a chill afternoon out picking berries.
