S2000 fan loud for everyone or just me?

So I finally got my S2000 and I opened the box, took it out and left it overnight to come to room temperature. The next day I plugged it in and it was at 23% and began charging. The fan came on and wow, it was fairly loud and it stayed on the entire time it was charging. Eventually reached 100% and went off.

So is this thing kinda loud for everyone or do I have a possibly bad fan?

My eco-flow has a fan that comes on sometimes but it is fairly quiet in comparison.

Can I use NextDNS with NetGuard?

I have an android phone that I use NextDNS on and I put the NextDNS entries in the phones network settings, but I was wondering if I have to also change the DNS setting in NetGuard too or does NetGuard just use the DNS settings of the phone anyway?

Anybody who ordered S2000 on 6/2 get a ship date yet?

So I ordered an S2000 on 6/2 during the "pre-order" time period and was told then that it would ship on 6/23. Like others I saw that people that orded from Amazon already got theirs and I still haven't heard anything. Anyone else that did the pre-order get theirs yet or at least hear anything about when we might hope to get these things?

I mean they must have them because Amazon customers are getting them. I thought that if I ordered direct from their own website that we would be at the front. Guessed wrong I guess.

What is "backup reserve" setting for?

On a Delta 3 Max Plus, can anyone explain to a novice what the "backup reserve" setting is for or what it does exactly? It's under savings-oriented/backup settings -> operating mode. Is this mostly for if you have solar panels or something?

Manual says that it is used to keep a reserve in case of discharge but I have it set to default 50% and I had the unit discharging and it got down to 30% so nothing happened so I don't think it is related to the charge/discharge levels.

First PS, trying to learn quick

Just bought my first power station (Delta 3 Max Plus), primarily to use as a UPS for a security system. I need something longer lasting than a typical cyberpower or similar. But I am having a hard time understanding exactly how this thing works and, in my opinion, their documentation is lacking. I tried calling tech support but they can't "teach" you this stuff so here I am.

First question. Bypass mode - Please tell me if I understand this correctly. In bypass mode the power goes directly from the grid to attached lodes. It bypasses the batteries/inverter. When this is off (not bypass) then the attached devices run directly off of the battery/inverter, even if the PS is plugged into the grid. Correct?

If that's correct then does that mean that in bypass mode there is no surge protection? What about the "pure sine wave"? Is pure sine wave only when running on battery/inverter? Is the incoming power from the grid filtered at all or just the same "dirty" power from the wall socket?
