Auto-build parallel tracks?
Is there a way to build two or more parallel tracks at once? There's a mod for it in transport fever so I imagine it must exist for open ttd somewhere

what the title says. there were some plays that happened earlier in the turn which are on the replay. MD didn't give me the option to respond, just auto-resolved

Is there any history of Homer Simpson type characters?
As I get older and progress through my career I find the world (or at least my workplace) is full of Homer Simpsons and I'm willing to bet it has been since the beginning of time. I would love to read ancient societies' take on this sorta guy before the age of modern convenience.
To be specific it would be a character who is:
* a commoner or working class
* too dumb to know they're dumb but not dumb enough to be sure of it
* would be completely helpless without society to pick up after him
* somehow still manages to have a successful and well respected career
* despite all that is a cool guy who people generally like
