PHIL2160 (Brian Huss) Failed so bad and it makes no sense

I mentioned to my advisor that I failed a course I was doing relatively well in. My younger brother and I both took the class and I actually did the readings and attended lectures/tutorials while he didn’t. He passed, I failed. I emailed prof Huss and got a copy of my final. After writing our final my brother and I verbally compared answers on the drive home and got similar results. I told all this to my advisor and she mentioned getting someone to take a look at my progress in the course to maybe appeal it. How do I go about doing this?

AIO BF called me a radical for supporting Luigi Mangione

Saw a post about the double jeopardy and what’s going on with the case. We were cuddling and doom scrolling. One of my following accounts liked it and it’s a woman and he said, “why are u following people that support a hot criminal” or smth along the line. I responded with what Luigi represents in the current state of the US and he called me radical.

Ps. We are Canadian. He is very “uninterested” in politics while I am apparently, radical.

Edit: sure we can talk about the atrocity that is killing a father, a husband, a son, in cold blooded murder on a public street. But some of u are too afraid to mention the countless lives stolen and lives ruined because of greedy insurance companies like United. No there is no statistic on how many people lost their lives due to changing or limiting health insurance specifically by united, but who knows, one day we’ll know.

I’m pretty sure I am not bipolar

I posted a couple days ago about skipping meds, but I completely stopped all of them after skipping for about a month, 8 days ago. I feel fine, motivated, active, sleep is good, eating less, work the same and doing just as much academically. I contacted my psych 3+ weeks ago and havnt heard back, despite reaching out twice again. I was just sick of taking pills and getting fat I stopped it all and so far: no withdrawal.

My first manic episode followed trying like 8 different anti depressants. Something makes me think I’m perfectly fine and just feel sad sometimes, but definitely not bipolar. I will be telling my doc all of this if he ever gets back to me but yeah, feeling good.

Been skipping meds here and there

I am so so so fat I cannot take this med anymore. I take a 100mg of latuda, 12.5 Seroquel, bc, iron, and vitamin d. The pills are too much and too big I can’t swallow them. I’ve been stable for 2+ years on this concoction and just waiting to hear back from my psych because I want to tell him I no longer want to take this. I’ve been skipping every other day. And I’m started to get really creepy thoughts and anxiety. Ik the right thing to do is to just take my prescribed dose until I see my psych but I can’t I can’t get myself to take this knowing it’s making me fat. At the same time I am not stupid enough to stop cold turkey

Tapering off high dose, what to expect?

Currently on 100mg and speaking to my psych soon about hopefully tapering off due to weight gain. Still unsure what we'll replace it with but im doing my research. what kinds of symptoms did you experience tapering off? did life go back to pre-latuda hectics? i remember when i went down from 120 to 100 my anxiety was thru the roof and i was hearing and seeing things in my peripherals. that went away with the addition of another med but yeah, just worried about whats gonna happen. i dont want to be depressed but i also dont want to be fat. i want to keep hopes high but ik tapering off can be difficult and just want to know what to expect.

Co-op as an English Major

Should i do it? Goal is to do teachers college after BA. Doing 3rd year courses rn but really in my 4th year of uni. Should I do a summer co-op and try to get experience with children? or is it just gonna slow me down more.

I am an English major and back in grade 11 my parents pushed me to get a job. Now in my 3rd year of uni I make decent money, pay for my own car and insurance and charging (tesla). My younger brother is in comp sci and fast tracked high school. My parents havnt brought up getting a job to him once. He drives our cars for free, doesn’t pay for anything.

I was complaining to my friend who’s in engineering that my “lazy” brother gets everything for free (like his laptop his desk his iPad) while I worked two jobs to be able to pay for stuff my first year.

My friends response was “well he’s in engineering he can’t do that”

Ik engineering students with stacked resumes of jobs, projects and BUSINESSES. Asking my younger brother to get a part time job is too much? An Engineering student can’t work 2x8 hour shifts on the weekend?

How much heavier is the course load of a comp sci degree compared to an English one??

I used to play flute from grades 6-8 and loved it. Havnt touched it since and probably forgot my scale and sight reading but I want to get back into it. Where on campus can I just go to practice/meet other players and maybe collaborate without judgement. I believe I was intermediate but obviously need some refreshers. Should I follow YouTube tutorials in my backyard until I’m band/club worthy?

Any tips would be nice! Looking to meet more wind players <3
