Family Court Branch Clerk of Court V Application

Branch Clerk of Court V interview for a Family Court in a few days. The invitation only says to “come prepared.” Has anyone here gone through the application process? Was it just an interview, or was there also a written exam ba or other assessment? Any tips would be greatly appreciated! Thank you!

UPCOL Iloilo

How true is it that UPCOL Iloilo is strictly filtering its students that only a tiny fraction of students graduate, as seen in its pioneer batch? Heard they recently kicked out around 18 students last sem due to their retention policies. Is the attrition rate really that brutal?

I sent this IG post and got “tambaloslos” as a reply. What does the word mean in this context?

PCC Work Culture

For lawyers or anyone familiar with the Philippine Competition Commission, what should one realistically expect from work under the Mergers and Acquisitions Office? What about the work culture at PCC in general? Thanks!

Can congressional staff still notarize documents/practice notarial law?

Hi! I’m a newly admitted lawyer.

Just wanted to ask if lawyers working as congressional staff in the House of Representatives (particularly legislative staff positions) are still allowed to notarize documents privately on the side.
If not generally allowed, is it possible to obtain authorization/permission from one’s principal or office to engage in limited notarial practice?

Also, would the restriction differ if plantilla vs COS?

Thanks!
