I bought new Kona 2027 and here's my thought

Edit) mine is not next gen Kona! It's current generation kona. I don't know how to edit subject.
they released kona with minor change in my country and they called it 2027 Kona. I didn't know there will be new Kona soon. sorry all!

Before this Kona, I currently own 2016 Santa Fe and 2014 Kia Optima,

Also I frequently drive 2022 Elantra and 202? Kia Seltos for business.

I hate CVT, I hate DCT, and hate AdBlue thats why I kept my old cars, however Kona now has 8 spees auto transmission instead of DCT and this made me to decide buying.

So here is my opinion

- Space: The space is huge than anything ive driven. I was like "nah its small SUV anyway" but I was wrong.

- Packages: they are hugely improved. Built-in dashcam is clear. also it records sound and extra values like blinker.

Safety Assists are way better than before. I actually don't like computer assists and it's still same tho, but I will stop saying "No, it's not very helpful as you think" to others.

- Performance: It's enough with small SUV. But 1st - 3rd gears are too short and it's very wide between 3rd and 4th. I personally don't like it but I understand why they decided like this. Also changing speed is slow and not smooth (yet)

- Paddle shifter: the one thing I hated when driving mordern Hyundai/Kia. They are just automatically back to Drive if you keep the speed. HOWEVER, Now it maintains manual transmission if you are in sport mode. I think it's huge QoL change. but they removed start with 2nd gear. you can't change gear if your car is under 5mph.

- Suspension: Very soft. It's comfort with common driving but I'm wonder how it feels on high speed. Im thinking of changing the suspension if I feel unstable later.

- Steering wheel: tiny, thin and very heavy which means you have to use more power, especially when you do 90 degrees left/right turn with 20mph. Any other I said above are both likes and hates, however steering wheel is what i hate only. Also Airbag area is convex which makes you harder to honk.

- Buttons: They are all Physical buttons. perfect! good job!

- Lights: rear blinker is positioned at bottom side. You better blink early. others are okay tho.

- Display: hard to see while driving. I think Kona has newer display than Seltos/Elantra however, I feel like both are easier to read than Kona.

So my personal rate is 9/10 !

Comfort, Good Economy, Huge Space, Enough Power, Upgraded System. they all great.

I need your help, racers. (Tuning question)

Hello! Im racing on gran turismo world championship now, with 88C-V by Toyota.

Everything is good, Driving is really comfort except one thing.
The problem is, When accelerating on high speed, Rear wheels keep skidding on clean straight.

I figured out this is because of bumps of surface because when I did soften my rear spring while testing on oval track, it was almost eliminated.

Also it was improved if I added weight on my front too. However it still kills my rear tire since spring is too soft maybe.

however when I test with B spec, even with default(stiff) spring setup, there was no issue at all and front tire always degraded quickly than rear.

So my question is,

  • Is there driving / tuning guide for abvoiding this specific skidding issue?

Thanks!

+) I spent almost 6 hours(3 days) to solve this but had no luck. I tried with 10 TC but TC didn't help with skidding but lower top speed. bruh

Kia 2014 Optima (k5)

Not my car but I'm driving currently anyway.
I saw rear axles are too angled before, and already spun once at rainy day with 40km (30mph). there was a manhole tho.

So I checked my alignments and this is the result.

Caster
FL 4.29 / FR 4.91

Camber(negative)
FL 1.12 / FR 0.28 / RL 2.06 / RR 1.51

Toe
FL 0.10 / FR 0.09 / RL 0.26 /RR 0.22

Thrust(?)
Rear 0.07

SAI Left 12.81
Right 12.74

Included
Left 11.49 Right 12.46

Set Back
Left -9mm / Right -10mm

The result paper is localized so I translated to English but I'm not sure I did well.

I know what Caster, Camber, and Toe do for mechanic, but I don't know how bad they are. Also everything else are what I've never heard in entire of my life.

I don't feel any difference with another car I own(maybe rear is lighter.) however the single experience of spun makes me nervous when I drive this car.

Any advices?

+) When I visited mechanic because of this, they said they can't adjust because the suspensions are too rusty. When I asked if car is safe or not, they said it will be okay "If I drive with care." but how much should I care?
