I woke up today and, as I was having my morning coffee, a red ribbon I had on my left wrist fell off.

Context #1: this ribbon was placed around 3 years ago (maybe March or April 2023) as protection over a spiritual warfare I was involved in at work - a person of my team got fired over malpractice but they pinned it on me because I was their manager, this person was strongly involved in Santeria and took a few shots at me).

I have practiced protection spells for a while, but one of my best friends - who was born into a high-ranged Santeria family - told me I was under attack and her father helped us with a spell to protect me and my fam, and they asked me to tie that ribbon to my wrist, and so I did. A few knots and it was around my wrist until today.

Context #2: that work was extremely toxic and demanding, so I developed bruxism and crushed one of my molars. I hate going to the dentist due to past trauma, so I only go when it’s extremely necessary and for yearly cleanups. This molar started falling in little pieces, but it never bothered me so I didn’t care much about it.. well, the last piece fell off today too..

I know we are in the middle of letting go and shedding what no longer serves us, and I am so grateful for what’s been shed! But it was too much, too fast.. so I’d love to hear your thoughts on this.. and, should I consider that the protection of that ribbon did its work and I no longer need it? Should I do something else instead?
