Old Viola identification help

I bought this Viola in about 2010 off of eBay for $700. My mom was a lifelong viola player and played in the Stanford University symphony. She had a viola that she had played for her entire life that was given to her by her father when she was in college. Around 2010 or so the viola was stolen out of its case by a relative/drug addict. We never found out who it was. My mom only discovered it when she opened the case to play and the viola was gone. It completely shattered her. She was in tears for days. I didn't know anything about the instrument and went online and purchased what I thought would be something of a replacement to ease the pain for her and for her to have something to play. It turned out to be not the right thing for her, but the gratitude she had to me for doing that was immense. If anybody could help with any information and resale value I would appreciate it. My mom passed in 2013 and I'm finally ready to let go of it. It has a label inside which says:

Ottomar Hausman

Geigen- und Cellobauer

MITTENWALD/KARWENDEL

Made in Germany

-HANDARBEIT-

SERIAL- No. A657

Antonius Stradivarius (in italics)

Cremonensis faciebat 1719 (in italics)

Horse wall art-artist id and info requested

I picked up this piece of wall art at the local Goodwill. It appears to be on what is cotton pulp paper. I believe it was pressed into a mold when it was wet. And when dry left a nice 3D image. I can't read the artist signature but I'm leaning towards "Nathan". It appears to be a limited edition 63 of 950. It is in a high quality shadow box frame and under glass. It's a cool piece and I was hoping to get some more information on it as it is fairly unusual. The frame size is about 27 in x 23 in and the paper size of the art is about 15 in x 10 and 1/2 in.

Immediate downvotes for everything in this sub

I have noticed that as soon as anybody posts anything it gets a down vote within 2 or 3 minutes. Not sure if it is a bot or a person and I sent the mods a request to look into it but haven't received a response. At first I thought it was just my posts but once I started looking at others I saw it as well. I think it's called griefing or brigading? Anyway, just an FYI to not take downvotes personally. There are just some haters out there for whatever reason. It's unfortunate that this is allowed to happen in this sub. It's not only music but questions or discussions or really anything that is posted here. I would also suggest that in the interests of combating the haters, don't downvote a song that somebody posts if you don't like it. Just scroll on by. Upvote if you like it. Musical taste is highly individual, and everyone has a different opinion of what is acceptable to use the AI for, and just because you don't like the quality or the content or the level of AI used in the song, it doesn't mean it doesn't resonate with somebody else. As usual, have fun making your music! Good vibes to everyone.

[AI collaboration rock] The warmth from the fire by MosAIc ylekiot

This is some crazy little story that I wrote probably when I was smoking something when I was younger. It's really fun to turn these writings into music. It's quite the ear worm. More along the lines of of '80s Rock if you're into that sort of thing.

Casting problems

Maybe a month ago I started being unable to cast to my Google home system from the Suno app on my Android phone. I do it almost everyday and it's quite annoying when it doesn't work. As soon as I select a device to cast to it just stops playing and responding. I thought I saw another post about this but I can't find it. Has anybody encountered this or have a solution? I have uninstalled and reinstalled the app already.

[Easy listening] My kind of fool by MosAIc ylekiot

Just more of my AI collaboration. I do not have any intention of trying to hide the AI, in fact I welcome and encourage it's input and presence in my song creation. I 100% do the words completely on my own. I enlist the AI to follow some general guidance I provide to create a song that matches the feeling in my words. I make this music for myself and my wife and some people who know me well and love it. I don't post to YouTube or Spotify or anything other than here and Instagram and I don't get bogged down in the minutia. I just make songs I love. Enjoy

Listening to other people's songs

I occasionally listen to other people's songs posted here. Well, at least if they're on Suno and not Spfty or YT. I'm pretty sure I've listened to more songs than I've posted LOL. I have found some really good music by either randomly listening here or listening to someone who listened to my song and gave me a like or followed me.

I just like music and I enjoy a lot of stuff that is being created here. I decided tonight that if I post a song, or spend any time on the topics, I'll listen to a couple of songs at least.

This is an interesting group, but I find it especially interesting that people are all in on getting their music monetized or recognized, yet don't listen to other people's AI creations (or not much). I think it would help immensely in the whole promotion of what is going on here to have everybody that participates listen like I promised to do, or what they can at least. If you can get this group listening, you can get anybody to listen, and it will be more accepted.

And hit the like button so that you can make your mark, so to speak, on that person. What I do when I get marked is go listen to some of the Markee's songs. Spread the love.

[Jazzy hip-hop] What happens... By ylekiot

This is just a song I wrote about how someone that you used to have a relationship with pops into your head randomly. Sometimes good and sometimes bad. And how sometimes it just happens. What happens, that is.

Phonetic lyrics

Has anybody ever tried to make a previously made song, like a copyrighted one, and avoided the chopping block by just phonetically sounding out lyrics from a popular song and then seeing how the results came out and if they were close to the music that went with a song originally? BTW I am not recommending doing it. I am just wondering if it has been done and what the results were.

Picked up some coins. How did I do?

So I started following this sub and I'm interested in investing in silver. I made a run to the local pawn shop today and they had a collection of silver coins. They had a 20% off sale as well. They told me they priced based on melt value only. Each coin was 32 to 34 g of .925 silver. They were either $89.99 or $94.99 for the ones that were a bit heavier. After the 20% off they became $72 and $76. I also paid a total of $186.87 in sales tax. There were 29 coins. For calculation purposes, I divided the total sales tax by 29 which equaled $6.44 per coin. So the $89.99 coins cost me a total of $78.44 including tax and the $94.99 coins cost me $82.44. when I calculate the spot value based on the weight, it comes out to anywhere from $91 to $95 per coin.

So the total I paid came out to be $2,294.87 including taxes. The spot value (today listed at $2.81/g) priced at $2,701.06 according to my calculations. It's possible these coins might be more as a collectible? Some numismatic site rated them a 97 on a scale of commonality with zero being the most common. I saw a couple for sale online and the price was higher than I was expecting. They also came with a cool book. Apparently these coins were issued by American Express to card holders for purchase in about 1970.

Curious what you guys think about my purchase. Did I do okay? Any input and comments are appreciated as I am just getting started.

[Jazzy lounge music] by ylekiot

Angela. If you must know. Her self portrait as the cover. Mixture of her and my writing. Has it only been 25 years? Maybe she'll see it. She would certainly know. Capturing her spirit.

Fun use for my Suno generated instrumental track

Hey all I just thought I'd share what my friend and I did with my track. It's called "Way out" and you can listen to it if you go to my profile. My friend is retired and was having fun making a game and eventually hopes to monetize it. Although it's not monetized at the moment. It's just a fun game that you can play for free. My music is the background for that Tetris like game. There are no ads and you can check it out here. Just something fun to do with my stuff. And it's a fun game! I think you can also download the app on the Play store for free.

So in this strange world we live in, we are here and then disappear. Sometimes people do things or live beyond their time in history, but most people will fade away after they die and then their memories that live in other people's minds and photographs will fade away as well until there is not much left. I feel like it's good to leave a mark with thoughts encased in songs that I make for people that knew me. If nothing else, it will be my legacy. My wife is quite a bit younger than I am and I will probably pass before she does. This will be a deeply personal part of me that lives on, transcending time. I think that's one reason why the songs we make resonate more with ourselves than others, because we are capturing our lives in the song (sometimes). Certainly these songs for me become an extension of my being and some of them are deeply personal. I will post a song in a comment that encapsulates a bit of me. Feel free to do the same. I would love to listen to your story
