picked up my first pvm from my work today

i just got 3 jerrold impulse cable boxes (DVP7*** series) at a thrift store for my cable system and they didnt come with a manual. they work, but there are several buttons (pressing “PC/PM” just shows “PL”, im assuming it means parental lock) that i have no clue how to use. ive looked everywhere online for the manual but couldnt find one that was scanned in. does anyone know if there is a manual online or know what all the huttons do?

found these 3 general instrument/jerrold impulse cable boxes at a thrift store, with remotes and everything! all for 9 bucks!

got home and everything works, plus i hooked it up to a modulator and ran my dvr through it to do some testing, and it‘s great! i run an analog tv station out of my basement and this is perfect for getting it throughout my house.

Put in fresh batteries and nothings happening. Not even the battery light is on. Any tips on how to fix it?

also, there was a whole roll of undeveloped ektachrome in it when i got it
