Going into labor before 2nd scheduled c section?

My first daughter was a scheduled c section at 37 weeks (pre eclampsia) I got pregnant again 5 months postpartum. I have a c section scheduled in 10 days when I’m exactly 39 weeks. I’m a bit anxious about going into labor sooner, anyone had this happen and what was the result? My main fear is uterine rupture but my OB says the odds are pretty low even this close together.

2nd due in 3 weeks - 14 month gap. Feeling not ready!

As much as I’m happy for my daughter that she will have a little sister so close in age to her…I’m 3 weeks away from my scheduled c section and feeling so unready for a second baby already. I feel guilty for having dread in a way. Anyone else go through this?

Home inspection issues - polyb, radon/acidic water, old hot water boiler

Obviously the biggest concern on the home inspection was polyb which we are currently negotiating with the sellers on for a full replacement. These other things seem manageable in the budget we’ve set aside for repairs. What are your thoughts? Too many signs of neglect at full asking price? Other things that came up were cracked tile(already were planning for redoing all floors), driveway/walkway repave, adding a gutter on the back of the house, upgrading the amp service from 100 to 200.

Need plumber that can replace polybutylene pipes that came up on home inspection (Rockingham county)

I’m under contract on a home and the inspection just found polybutylene pipes. Looking for an experienced plumber to assess the situation and repipe it since we can’t get insured with these pipes apparently. Location is Rockingham county Raymond/Sandown area

14 month age gap, both girls and considering buying a 2bed home - baby/toddler room share?

I’m due in August with my second daughter and my first will be 14 months. We are putting an offer on a small 1400sqft 2 bedroom home out of state because quite frankly it’s what fits our budget and we came to the conclusion a good neighborhood was more of a priority than a big home. There is a “bonus room” that the current owners have been using as a third bedroom, there is just no door attached - which is a small fix, but I’m thinking to have them room share and use that room as a playroom instead so they have a safe space to play. My concern is the newborn waking up my toddler. Would anyone have experience on room sharing with a toddler and an infant? Positives and negatives?

My daughter will be 11 months next week and she’s developmentally normal physically. It took her a little longer to sit up on her own than some babies. She was 8 months when she started getting the hang of it but that’s the only thing she struggled with so it set us back on solids. Well, she’s still struggling to move past purées and has no interest in self feeding with the exception of happy baby crackers - she happily eats those. I’m a SAHM and I have plenty of time in the day to prepare her foods but she throws them on the floor, immediately throws them up, or cries for me to feed her. She still doesn’t hold her bottle and I’m assuming she won’t because she has no interest (even with handles) my pediatrician says since she will eat crackers on her own she’s probably just picky and he wouldn’t suggest feeding therapy until after a year old and she hasn’t made any progress with other foods. I’ve been trying to make her purées chunkier but it doesn’t seem to move the needle when it comes to serving her foods.

I’ve tried:

Scrambled eggs

Cooked carrots

Blueberries

Raspberries

Rice (she will pick at it)

Bananas

Turkey/chicken

Potatoes (sweet and regular) - this she will eat a couple of bites but throw up from any more than that.

Mango

Pancakes

I’m still trying to alternate and incorporate these foods along with her purées but it’s been a struggle. How can I make it a more positive experience for her? A lot of times she cries and just wants to be fed and I give in and puree whatever I’ve made instead.
