Is there any decent coffee in/near Woodbridge (other than Dark Horse)?

I know this is a bit of a long shot, but are there any so-called “3rd wave” coffee shops in and around Woodbridge/Vaughan that I may have missed. Or at least somewhere where you can get a good flat white or cortado or just an Americano? I know there must be quite a few Italian espresso places but I’m looking for the above.

Dark Horse is pretty good imo. Balzac’s seems pretty mediocre to me. Starbucks/Second Cup etc. are terrible. Any others?

Will to drive for 20 or 30 minutes for some decent coffee (has to be in Vaughan though as it’s where my family lives and they’re not going to come into Toronto).

Would appreciate any help!

Best retail zero alcohol drinks available in TO?

Newly sober due to medical reasons. Looking for the best beers and other drinks that have zero per cent alcohol (many nonalcoholic beers have 0.5%). Ideally ones that are low in sugar too.

I’ve heard it’s best to just skip non alcoholic wines.

But any really great ones, whether beer or something else? I tried a Peroni zero and I thought it was pretty good.

How would you fix The Well? Can The Well be fixed?

So, personally, I kind of like The Well. It’s different from we have in Toronto and the food court is great.

I also understand why people dislike The Well or just find it strange. Why an outdoor mall in a place where winter lasts half the year? Why is it so dark? Why is the food court the main draw but the stores are just a bit… meh?

But unless there’s some awful, cataclysmic earthquake, The Well will live for our lifetimes.

So how might The Well be better? What could be added? What taken away? What changed?

Hello all. My dad is asking me to buy some art... but not new art or originals. Instead, he just wants, like, a framed Monet or Van Gogh or Turner etc.

Thing is... I have no idea where you go to buy something like that. I've googled and have come up short.

Anyone know where to get an old man some reprints of classics?

Would appreciate some help. Got a milestone birthday coming up and wanted to go to a restaurant with 12-14 people.

Budget is $150pp and under. So "high end" is a bit of a stretch, I get that. That rules out places like Canoe, I think, since I imagine with wine etc., you're going to get closer to $200pp or higher (assuming a la carte, I mean).

Have considered Adrak. Would Quetzal do group dining? Though maybe that would be too expensive.

Looking for a place that will feel special, has reliably good food and if it leans toward spicier cuisine, that would be great.

Many thanks!
