Please, for the love of god... no spearhead!

I just want to start by saying that if you personally use one or more of these examples, please don't take this as a personal jab. I'm not here to offend anyone, and just because I don't like them doesn't mean you should change the way you speak. I'm the odd one in this situation.

The actual post:

What I'm saying is mostly related to israeli Hebrew, so those of you who live abroad might not understand what I'm talking about.

The phrase "הוא משקר אותך/משקר עלייך" instead of "הוא משקר לך". Why? It sounds terrible, and it's so common for some reason. Where did it come from? I can't stand that phrase.

Second example, "לאפה שווארמה" instead of "שווארמה בלאפה". I'd say 80% of people use the grammatically incorrect version. Maybe it's just me, but it sounds so bad. I have no idea why people choose to twist hebrew like this.

Third example, "הלך הבית" instead of "הלך הביתה".

Those are just a few examples. I would love to know why they're so common, where they came from, and whether I'm the only one who's irritated by them.

I was contemplating whether to buy RE requiem on the switch 2 or ps5 ever since it launched. I struggled to make a decision because the demo wasn't available at the time.

Now that I've played the demo, I really like it, but there are some pretty noticeable frame drops and very poor frame pacing during leon's section. I have no complaints about grace's section, It was perfect.

I know the reviews mention some frame drops during intense moments while playing as leon, but at least in the demo, it was pretty terrible, and it happened in a very small, enclosed area. That makes me wonder if it's just an issue with the demo.

Is it any better in the full version?

My family and I are planning to visit the park on september 1. I was hoping we could avoid the massive crowds by choosing a less popular day. I know it's going to be very hot, and there's also a chance that a typhoon could ruin our day.

I've never experienced anything like this before, so I have no idea what to expect. I'm honestly kind of terrified of the crowds. How bad is it likely to be? Also, what's a good strategy for riding more than just a few coasters?

Sorry if I'm posting this in the wrong place.

I'm planning to visit universal studios in september, and a friend told me that I need to be ready at my computer with my credit card in hand the moment express passes go on sale because they can sell out within minutes.

Is that actually true? It sounds incredibly frustrating and is giving me flashbacks to the ps5 preorders a few years ago.

I'd love to hear any tips for buying universal tickets and passes. Also, how bad is it if I can't get the express passes? Is the experience still enjoyable without them?

English is not my first language, but I can speak it pretty fluently. I'm from the EU, so obviously I prefer to play on EU based servers.

My problem is the influx of non english speaking servers. There are a lot of russian servers. There are also some really nice german servers with badass germans who don't mind speaking to me in english, but it's still not the best. Honestly, I'm fully aware that I'm being an inconvenience to them every time they need to pause and translate what they're talking about for me. I appreciate it, but it's not ideal for either side.

My problem really starts when I enter a server that claims it's an english speaking one and everyone speaks russian, not even acknowledging my existence. It has happened to me so many times.

Even on servers like spearhead that everyone and their mother recommends, I join the ukrainian side, notice how I said the ukrainian side, because people told me in the past that all the russian speaking players are only on the russian side, but that's not true.

Every single time I join spearhead on the ukrainian side, 90% of the team speaks russian and refuses to even try to communicate with me.

Can anyone relate? Can you please recommend an actual english speaking EU server?

First things first, sorry if I'm asking this in the wrong place. If so, I'd appreciate being directed to the correct subreddit.

I'll be visiting japan during my brother's birthday, so obviously I'll miss it. Because of that, I'd like to get him an outstanding gift, maybe something like that japanese whisky he's always talking about.

I know absolutely nothing about whisky, and I have no idea where in tokyo I could get a bottle of japanese whisky engraved with a personal message. When I searched on google, it gave me some strange recommendation for a popup liquor event that didn't seem relevant.

I'd really appreciate any recommendations for places in tokyo that offer this kind of service. I'd also love to know how the process works, roughly how much it costs, and which Japanese whiskies are generally considered good. I don't want to ask my brother directly because I don't want him to suspect anything.
