Will my elective in shs matter for cets?

Hello! I am currently a Junior in SHS. I’m required to choose my elective for the 2nd term na but I’m having trouble choosing one. For context, I chose the biology elective in the first term but I soon came to realize I don’t want to be a doctor anymore. As of now my two career path options are something in business or management in politics. The courses I’m looking into for college are marketing, accounting, management, or social science.

My options for my 2nd term electives are Organization Management, Visual Arts (not related but it would be a chill subject), Finite Math, Philippine Governance, and Business 1.

I want to choose an elective that’s useful in the future and will help me in answering the CETS. My biggest fear right now kasi is ung mismong cets because I’m really bad at math in general and english 😕 I get really good grades but I’m starting to worry that it’s just an overestimation of my actual skills. For math, most of the teachers here give practice tests that have the same concept on the exam kaya it’s easy to just memorize. So ayun I get good grades kasi namememorize ko lang talaga ung sagot or paano isagot :( pero pag dating na talaga sa problem solving kung saan di ko memorize kung ano gagawin, bigla nalang nawawala ako as in walang pumapasok sa utak ko 😭 And guilty din ako of looking at my seatmates papers and talking during tests kasi na-normalize na sha :( Para naman sa english (and Filipino as well), I’m a veerryyyy casual speaker… My vocabulary is not good at all and I struggle writing essays with good content. Not only that but I was very dependent on AI back in 2022-2025 so mas lalong hindi umusad vocabulary ko… But as of now I’m really trying my best to quit the use of AI especially in writing.

Please can anyone reassure me 😭😭 I’m getting scared because I want to choose an elective to help me in CETS pero I’m also thinking na will I reallly remember this info in a year 🙏 because Ifl my problem areas (math, english, etc) are things I need to take time for to actually fix… idt a class can help fix it. So maybe I should just choose an elective that will help me get passing grades? Or should I choose an elective that will make me realize that I cannot continue to perform average? Kasi in reality my school is very chill lang I mean it’s super duper easy to get an award kasi the teachers will always let u pass. I don’t know anymore plz help

how to stay fresh all day

I am very pawisin and oily 😢 I’ve already done everything to stay matte but nothing works. My class is air conditioned, I take air conditioned vehicle to school, I blot my face, I have a mini fan, and my makeup routine is just nars pot concealer on acne marks and grwm loose powder + canmake marshmallow pressed powder. I also do simple skincare recommended by a dermatologist. 😭 I genuinely get so oily to the point I can wipe the oil off my face after 2 hours and you can see the imprints of the oil on my fingers. It makes me look so haggard in school and it lessens my confidence 💔

Medium vs Large Longchamp?

I am 4’8 so I’m afraid that the large longchamp will look like a sack on me 😭 I only carry an ipad Air 5, 4 thin notebooks, pencil case, hygiene pouch, and other small knick knacks. I occasionally bring a 13 inch laptop.

How do I know if I’m making the right decision

I’ve been so torn lately because of one decision I need to make. I’ve always had great intuition and right now I’m feeling really uneasy and I can’t tell if I’m just anxious or if my gut feeling is sensing something 🥹 I feel like this difficulty was brought upon me because of karma… I haven’t been proud of my actions lately and I’m sure that this decision I have to make is my karma. I feel okay with accepting my current situation but for some reason I feel inclined to fix it? or maybe I feel the need to leave in order to feel a sense of security?

Idk I just feel like I’m sensing something weird almost like it’s a feeling of impending doom 😭 I’m scared and so lost right now 💔 Maybe it’s because I think I’ll be happier if I carry on the decision but doing so means I’m leaving someone behind. And I wouldn’t want this situation to happen if I were the person to be the person left behind? And that idea of leaving someone behind is uneasy to me because I wouldn’t want it to happen to me and there’s a chance that I can be left behind if I also don’t make this decision..
