NEED a female vocalist

I have a song i have like 75% complete and want to get it finished. It’s missing the 4 bar chorus, which I have written, even have a cut for reference where I “sing” it, I’m not the best vocalist, i can rap though and can write/produce ( no not the new garbage that’s mumbled and off beat) real hip hop. 20+ yrs experience - u kinda have to get good at something you’ve done for so long right?

this needs a solid vocalist and could potentially be a big song. title is “i, robot” and it’s has kind of a dread almost dystopian feel, its my thoughts on “AI and machines” and the direction its ultimately heading.

I REFUSE to use ai in creating this song or any of my music, which is and will always art and a way to express myself. has to be organic or this song is a lie

i know she’s out there somewhere, maybe even worried about job security due to the changing times with this new wave of tech…

no way to not sound arrogant but the song is really good. hear it for yourself. first i just need to know you can actually sing so maybe post a link from somethin recent? Can just email files back and forth, i can handle the mixing/mastering. just need that right voice

no audio from headphone out through interface

so my laptop crashed about 3 days after buying the key37. noticed my mic was gettin a little dusty so I figured I’d see how it did with vocals.
I changed the audio driver in the settings, the mic is working. I can hear it directly on the headphones but that’s ALL I hear. I’m getting no other sound from the mpc. I need to hear the beat I made and should be able to hear it in order to record vocals, right? I’ve tried everything I can think of. headphones are plugged into the interface because this bypasses the board?
I’m not clicking something! please help lol

“Kill Phil” Tarentino type beat

so I have to keep the 808s and drums muted cuz everyone is night night atm. wanted to post this to see if it sounds as nasty as it does or if it’s just me 🤷🏼‍♂️
Ive been working on layering sounds and the few I paired up on this are just perfect..

Bought the key37 in March - BRAND NEW to using mpc, any thoughts/feedback/tips?

automation ???

I have to be doing something wrong, so I’m just wanting to add tape stop at the end of the intro. I did it before but I changed the arrangement up in the song mode so now I need to redo it.
didn’t have the timing right so I need to delete it. where is this hiding at? all the videos I’ve seen say to go to the grid and change from velocity to automation but it doesn’t show any automation there. whenever I go to the list I’m not even sure wtf im looking at, but its got 200 different events, I go to midi automation (is that not the right one?) seems to be the only thing that even shows anything.
I’ve been throwing it on the master - figured I’d try to do it on a program but whenever I go there it says
XYFX hasn’t been inserted, I hit insert and it goes to the master.
Only way I’m finding to delete the event I added is trashing the insert all together.

this is frustrating lol

help?

(video is just the beat I’m workin on wanting to add the fx maybe before the hook but definitely at the end of the intro)
