I’m a video editor myself too.
So this is not one of those situations where someone gives random instructions and disappears.
I personally handle:
Creative direction
Script writing
Video planning
Sometimes footage gathering
Overall editing style and flow
Your role would mainly be:
Assembling/editing videos
Adding subtitles/effects/transitions
Syncing audio/music
Following the creative direction
Helping execute the final edit properly
So you won’t be left confused about what to do.

We use a project-management style workflow where every video is divided into different steps/processes.
Some parts are handled by me, and some by you.
This keeps the workflow organized, saves time, avoids confusion, and makes video production smoother for both sides.
So this is more of a collaborative editing workflow rather than dumping everything onto one person.

Students (11th/12th or college students) or young creators who already know basic/intermediate editing
Someone who understands pacing, subtitles, hooks, transitions, sound sync, etc.
Mobile editors are welcome too (CapCut, VN, Alight Motion, etc.) if your edits are good
Someone who wants to improve consistently by working on real projects
I’m NOT looking for professional freelance editors or agencies charging premium rates.
This is better suited for:
Editors building their portfolio
People practicing short-form/retention editing
Someone wanting editing as a side income + skill growth
