I have Pro Plus, I've tried adding to the style setting with position: fixed; and sticky; but that does literally nothing other than collapse my button list into one mishmash of buttons

They're within a section meant to be a table of contents that follows your screen but I don't know anything needed to make this work and a little help would go a long way since I pretty much only bought Pro Plus for this one thing

We never see it happen in full, not even in the novels (as far as I recall), but does anything ever actually say someone couldn't just.. pick up a Zanpakutō? And imprint on the Asauchi, learn its true name, get Shikai/Bankai, so on?

It's one of my most favorite debate topics but honestly I just want to see what people think rather than what I think people should think

The biggest thing against the prospect is "we don't see anyone do it" within this exact parameter. Obviously we see non-Shinigami use Zanpakutō, but they have clear exceptions that can't really be used to infer on whether or not something'd actually inhibit their related race.

Kenpachi Zaraki was not a shinigami when he stole his Zanpakutō, but he was just a soul as any other Shinigami is. (Kaname Tosen, too, took another person's Zanpakutō, but he was a Shinigami through-and-through at that point)

Ichigo was a Human when he got his Zanpakutō, but he has all of his shonen protagonist absurdities. (Although his Hollow Asauchi does feel worth mentioning in regards to non-Shinigami imprinting), there is also Kūgo Ginjō, a Human Substitute Shinigami that predates Ichigo and lacks a good majority of what Ichigo had (other than a Soul King part iirc)

Aaroniero Arruruerie and Roka Paramia ("it was stated in the novels") both have the ability to replicate Zanpakutō, but in both cases this is due to their abilities, and Aaroniero is the especially unique case of indirectly copying a Zanpakutō due to Metastacia, who was itself not a regular Hollow.

And of course the Quincy, who were able to develop a tool that can capture and use a Shinigami's Bankai. But, of course, it's a mechanism they created through their hibernation

Worldbuilding-wise I can see why it never happens (or rarely happens and such doesn't happen within the series): Arrancar and Quincy culture would absolutely abhor the prospect of using Shinigami weaponry over their own given the innate pride they have over their own abilities and state of being, and in general it's never a smart idea to pick up a weapon off a battlefield if you don't understand how to use it, you'd just be gimping yourself (although Bankai Medallions do betray the thought a little bit, but at the same time not that much? it makes sense you'd want to take out the strongest abilities in play, and more to try and then use them against the Shinigami)

But, it can't be entirely far-fetched that it's possible an Arrancar or a Quincy could just pick up a Zanpakutō and somehow dedicate time to learn how to speak to it? To imprint on its Asauchi, earn abilities that'd likely be adjacent to the standard Shinigami kit? (super opinion territory, but given that the Royal Guard don't have traditional Shikai and Bankai, and then there's Hikone Ubuginu, I'd imagine a self-taught, non-Gotei 13, Zanpakutō wielder would get something just a bit different, and/or worse)
