Das Ding steht nur dumm rum und ich habe Null Ambitionen, die Einzelteile zu verkaufen und verschicken. Er ist zwar funktionstüchtig, aber ich habe lange Jahre geraucht und er ist ziemlich verdreckt.

Zu gut für den Müll, zu viel Stress zum Zerlegen.

Für Bastler und Nachwuchszocker hat er durchaus ein interessantes HW-Portfolio:

I just feel the need to share and see if I'm the only one being weird about it.

I can't have a good time in BF when I squad up with mates. I constantly feel like I'm under the microscope and it's 100% me, because my mates are the nicest bros. Every stupid death I die agitates me 100 times more when I'm playing with people I know. What's even worse is having a common plan as a squad and failing to execute it. I get anxious about running with a mate when I think I should be somewhere else on the map.

I'm a terrible FPS player with barely 1.3 K/D. I know I'm best at playing the objectives, not winning the gun fight. Thanks to 20+ years of tank games, ground armor is the only thing I feel I'm actually comfortably above average at. So of course I put myself under the most pressure doing the thing I know I'm best at and ruin it even harder for myself.

Congratulations, you all are now my therapists! What would be your advice for getting over myself and enjoy playing with friends more?

I've familiarized myself with the different AC types by now. AC5-BF seems just universally good until you get UAC5s, RF AC2 is a meme. Any RF will incur a serious ammo weight added on. Less experience with AC20, but AC20 BF feels deadly.

But how do BF and RF work for the other ballistic types I haven't found (m)any of yet? I have one BF UAC and that thing just doubles the already considerable UAC dispersion. I haven't got a RF UAC yet, but isn't that a bit redundant and overdoing it?

Similar question about LBX, how does the burst shot or slug interact with BF and RF?

Rifle seems pretty straight forward, RF eats ammo and gets real spicy, BF feels good even with the added spread. Am I missing anything else here?

No YAML, just vanilla weaponry.

EDIT: Thanks for all the great info! Given that I am only 50 hours in and have about as many mechs to equip, playtest and optimize, it might be a while until I'm able to apply it. Y'all got any more of them CRs?

Moin Leute! Ich schiebe es schon seit Jahren vor mir her, mir endlich eine Katze in die Wohnung zu holen. Und jetzt, wo ich vorübergehend von einer Abfindung lebe, wäre eigentlich die perfekte Zeit. Aber irgendwie geht es bei mir nicht voran: Ich schaue alle paar Tage auf die Webseite des Tierheims Uhlenkrog. Viele Tiere sind aber Draußenkatzen. Viele haben auch gesundheitliche Anforderungen oder Wesenseigenschaften, bei denen ich mich als "Ersti" nicht ran traue. Oder wo das Tierheim auch gezielt erfahrene Halter anspricht.

Von Dingen wie Facebookgruppen und Kleinanzeigen habe ich mich bisher fern gehalten. Ich wüsste nicht so recht, genau wonach ich schauen sollte. Ich habe herzlich wenig Lust, eine Katzenmühle zu finanzieren.

Könnt ihr mir Tipps geben, wo und wie ich hier in Kiel noch gucken kann, ohne Tierleid zu fördern? Ich möchte mich so gerne versklaven lassen.

When I first got my 7800X3D on a ASUS TUF B650-Plus WiFi, AM5 EXPO profiles were completely unusable for me. I also recall it took several BIOS revisions for ASUS to limit voltages safely. I could never get BuildZoid's timings to work properly back then, and at some point I just updated to a safe BIOS rev and let it run at 4800.

Well, I just updated my BIOS again and it looks like all EXPO presets work by now. However tRFC was set at the Hynix default 884 and tREFI was something stupid low in the 11000 range. I have since lowered tRFC to 700 and upped tREFI to 50000. Heat soaking for an hour with large FFTs and pushing the case temps as high as I could, it's stable in the low 50s.

I'm sure I can go lower on tRFC and some of the timings look okay, but several seem very loose to my rather untrained eye.

Can you give me some advice on what to change for a better but still pretty relaxed profile? And is it at all worth trying to squeeze a bit higher FCLK out?

I'm also not 100% on the die, I believe the 32 kits had M dies but google is failing me.

EDIT: Had some progress in the meantime, updated timings above.

Maybe I'm missing something here, but I've increasingly come across leeches that don't smoke/die in direct sunlight, either in the water or on certain platforms. I suspect lighting not registering properly on some surfaces is the issue, since the torch kills them.

Also, most prominently at the Warehouse but also other locations, pink/black slimes and green crawling and flying critters respawn on every game loading, even with no nests remaining. The pink slimes are particularly egregious, they seem to spawn in numbers much greater than there ever were originally.

Is this something you have noticed as well, or is there a reason I'm missing besides "it's EA"?

Edit: Just finished going through every container there for the second time, there's 100% no nests left.
