Hi everyone, I have three Nain rugs from my grandfather. I love the design and craftsmanship, and have always been interested in Persian rugs, and would love to learn as much as possible about these pieces. The second and third are the same size essentially, the first one is pretty large. They all seem to be “6la” from twisting the fringe and seeing the thread.
I got a 2025 S Coupe last year without PSE, air suspension, or the SportDesign Package, and it left a lot desiring from my end. I thought I could live without them for a good deal, but couldn’t. Playing around with the configurator, and because sound is so important to me (GTS w/PSE is better than S w/PSE), this 2026 GTS really felt like the “sweet spot.”
Hi everyone—I recently purchased this piece online for a pretty modest price. I like it a lot which is why I got it, but I’m curious to know if this is a genuine Ernest Lawson piece, how old it is, etc. The seller didn’t claim it was Ernest’s work, but said it was an unattributed piece signed “E. Lawson.” The signature looks—to my untrained eye—the same as authentic Ernest Lawson pieces, and the style does to with respect to heavy texture of paint and realist-inspired composition.
I could get it authenticated locally but don’t really want to waste money if it’s not worthwhile.
