My loves!!! Thank you all so SO SO much for your kindness in regards to my sweet little gal Raven, and me.

I got her into a vet; vet gave her a clean bill and estimated she’s about 7 little weeks. We got her first round of vaccines and I felt a bit sheepish - the vet and vtech(?) walked in with the needle and I asked “is.. is it gonna hurt?” The tech was sweet and just said “awhhhh…” whereas the vet looked a bit confused and said “… probably won’t hurt you?” Lol she made a little pained squeak sound when they gave her the shot, and I about leapt out of my chair. It ain’t easy bein a worried little mom lol

I’ve got her weaning over to hard food as per vet’s suggestion. I went and got her a little carpeted and roped climby thingy. She loves it.

One small issue I’ve bumped into.. she’s getting jumpier and SIGNIFICANTLY sharper with seemingly every minute. 🫠 I’ve got her a few toys of course but she… woof she’s a climber. I was in the midst of recording a segment for a podcast and had to take five because I went from a deep monotone voice to a literal Tom and Jerry scream. If my mic didn’t peak immediately it would’ve been a fucking hilarious recording!! Hahahaha is there ANYTHING you fine folks suggest to get her less claw-y?!? I refuse to declaw a kitty. I’m not sure if it’s even an option at her age but I still could NEVER bring myself to do that.

She’s been doing pretty good with my dog!!! She’s a bit nervous just in how quick he moves.. but he’s SO GODDAMN SWEET to her 😭 in fact he’s been laying in front of the door to the room she’s been staying in and he’s so protective of his sweet sister 🥹

I love you guys!! And remember. It’s your first time on earth too. It’s okay to make mistakes and not have everything figured out. 🖤

I’ll be going to pick up a cat-nail trimmer today when I get the chance. I’ll remove just the tip. (Don’t anyone dare be nasty about my sweet baby girl.) As well as some more toyssssssss 🥰🥰🥰 thank you all! Y’all are amazing!

Ladies and gentlemen, I feck’n did it. 😈my sister was on her way to bring me some kitty clippers and then asked if I had any cuticle cutters. I have a few layin about where I use them to cut tiny zip ties in random ass shit I’m “fixing” and it worked like a charm!!! She protested a tiny bit but I’m gonna play with her for a while and fetch her a treat or two! Thank you so damn much, EVERYONE!!

In real life almost all major cities rely on transfer stations to move garbage quicker.

What is a transfer station; a transfer station is a large building where garbage trucks unload their cargo. The garbage is then manipulated into a semi truck. Each semi truck can haul 4-6 standard garbage trucks worth - per load. The semi truck, then pulls the garbage to the landfill.

Why a transfer station; landfills are primarily built further from the city center. In some counties, the landfill can be up to hours away. A transfer station can be built, relatively close to a city center as they are often enclosed buildings, thus minimizing all types of pollution. Which then allows for a significantly shorter round-trip for each inner-city garbage truck. Rather than each garbage truck driving potentially hours to the landfill, they can do their route in as little as an hour total. Saving the garbage truck company, money, wages, truck, expenses, but most crucially time.

How it should work in my mind
-The transfer station will work as a hub for garbage cargo.

-The inner city garbage trucks will be supplied by the transfer station as will the semis.

-I would love for there to be at least a small and a large variant. The small may have three bay doors and the large May have 12. The small can fill one truck at a time while as the large can fill three at a time.

Howdy folks!

Unfortunately.. my line of work tends to bring around cats through all manner of delivery. Whether it’s assholes letting their cats be thrown in the garbage.. or the unfortunate fact that garbage generates heat and smell’s that cats seem to love. Either way. Not the dream lol

Round-about 5:45 this morning I was preparing my semi for the day’s work. I walked into our shop’s office looking for a shop vac to run a quick detail when I saw a small shadow dart into the shelf unit at the back end of the room. I turned on the light, closed the door and slowly walked towards it. I’d remembered from god-knows where that slowly blinking at a cat will help them trust you? I don’t know if that’s actually true - but it sure seemed to work! Hahaha I sat there and we blinked at each other back and forth. She was scared but I slowly moved my hand towards her until we had a little soft meowing match between us. She let me pick her up, and I carefully got her into my semi and up to our scalehouse. Thankfully.. the All-thing-animal whisperer was working today, so I left her in the caring hands of our weighmaster while I went and hauled my semis.

Any tips and/or advice would be huge. I’ve never owned a cat that was properly a kitten.. or a cat for that matter lol I’ve got a dog who she doesn’t seem to like, but he’s a gentle feller with a massive heart and a curious snoot. I gave her a tiny bit of EXTREMELY wetted down tuna fish stuff and she gobbled it down. I’ll be setting a vet appointment up soon. As for now, she is FAST asleep on my shoulder.

I got her sleeping in an old bigass dog crate with a few of my shirts, her food/water on one side and her litter box on the other. 🥰 she is the sweetest little thing. Yesterday.. I sobbed myself to sleep due to my severe depression and having semi-recently gone through a second divorce. It’s so so nice to read all these comments. I really am truly thankful for each and every one of you 🖤

She’s an absolutely delight and I am so honored I was the one to find her 🥰 goodnight everyone!! Remember you are loved. Even when you think there isn’t a snowman’s chance in hell that you are. 🥹
