US training, PH airline dream

My end goal is to be an airline pilot here in the Philippines and as a dual citizen I have opportunities to train in the US. So I was thinking that the best plan would to do all my training ppl - cfii in the US then build up to around 1000 hours as a cfi then return to PH with all that experience, convert from faa to caap license then start applying sa mga airline. I'd also like to secure a job offer before getting a type rating lets say sa atr.

Also the program for flying that I'd be taking in the US is a 2 year degree that includes ppl-cfii training. Then after getting that degree I would transfer to a university while working part time as a cfi to complete a bachelor's degree in applied science. So basically after 4-5 years in the US, I'd be returning with faa licenses, 1000+ hours as a cfi, and a US bachelor's degree.

So I'd like to know if this plan is reasonable considering my end goal, if I have an advantage against the other student pilots in the ph, and if there's anything I should change. Thanks guys, just need some advice.

Is it too late to backout now?

Hi guys! "Fresh" grad ako ng aviation school sa Manila, nag ipon ako for a while to enroll to a flying school and gumastos na rin ng hundred of thousands for the training... I admit I didn't do a lot of research regarding sa hiring ng piloto dito sa pinas and now I'm sort of depressed na sa mga nalaman ko. I was too blinded sa pangarap ko or I thought being a pilot is the simple way para kumita haha ewan ko na. The stories ng mga unemployed and freshly licensed pilots here have been so saddening to see. It literally killed my motivation to push through sa flying ko kasi nakikita ko na talaga na napaka laking trap sya dito sa pinas.

It's a bad investment na di kaya iafford ng mga lower middle class lalo na if di pasok dun sa mga cadet program na yan. I don't know if it's worth the effort pa talaga ituloy ang aviation career ko in general...

Honestly... if I have known na ganto ang lahat from the start, nakapag pursue na sana ako ng ibang line of work. Hindi worth it gumastos pa ng pera para sa isang dream na I cannot recover from but nakagastos na ako so should I double down pa ba or should i just stop na lang? Currently training for my cpl but i am leaning to explore other kinds of work na malayo sa aviation. Is this a bad decision? Anong work ba ang tumatanggap ng aviation degree? Thank you in advance! Please send help.

Job hunting as a BS AMT

Thank you.

Question to airline pilots

Hello

Im currently done with CPL and now at my IR course. As you know, we studied the Operation Procedures and learned all the penalties/suspensions if for example the pilot were not able to follow taxi instructions from ATC, there was a person standing while on take-off, etc etc

My question is if these suspensions usually do happen in real life? Like do many pilots in the airlines get suspended more than what we think? Kasi syempre as a student, ang nasa isip ko is “syempre hnd ko gagawin yang nga mistakes na yan” or “bakit ko nmn gagawin mga yan kung massuspend ako” but i know reality is different and people makes mistakes

So does it usually happen to pilots getting suspended for mistakes due to Operational Procedures?

Thank you in advance for the positive comments
