Dangerous driving

Just witnessed something mental, a totally effed up car with no brakes driving down the hill out of control on Ballyhooley Road, at St Luke's Cross. He crashed into a cars, before coming to a stop. Driver tried to flee, was stopped by a man on the street then jumped back in the car and turned to drive back up the hill. I called 999 but cycled off when he was coming in my direction. He would have been gone except his wheel collapsed. Looked like a young lad.

Fair play for displaying your novice plates, but could you not park on the pedestrian crossing in the feckin hospital, please?

Accidentally crossed red light on Drumcondra Road – is there a camera there?

Hi all, I was driving on Drumcondra Road near Lidl in bumper-to-bumper traffic and unfortunately made a stupid mistake.
I was following the car in front and completely missed that the traffic light had turned red. I ended up crossing the red signal at the footpath crossing.

There was nobody crossing and thankfully nobody was hurt. I realised immediately afterwards that I had gone through the red.

Just wondering if anyone knows whether there is a traffic/red-light camera at that particular junction? And if so, what normally happens in a situation like this?
I know it was my mistake, just looking to understand what I might expect.

Dublin Port Tunnel blockers

Has anyone else noticed a recent big increase in the number of drivers hogging the fast lane in the Port Tunnel?
With the average speed control set at 80KPH, these knobs insist on typically driving at around 70KPH blocking every other driver behind them as the slow lane is full with law abiding trucks.
You always get the dumb drivers, but with the noticeable increase, I’m even wondering if it’s deliberate for some strange reason.
