Why not drive into the station car park if they have some loading or unloading to do?

Contraflow cycle lane? Get in there, says the Aramark lads outside AIB Bank Dundrum
Contraflow cycle lanes are one of the few kinds of cycle lanes that are mandatory for cyclists to use. These lads got nice and close to the cones, making near it impossible for any cyclist to get through. Took a chunk of footpath for their convenience.
If only there was some available parking nearby that they could have used...

Dublin mums and dads... what kind of bicycle are we using to haul small children and where do we buy it??
We recently moved here and we're searching for a bike to haul our 3 year old to creche and around town. Priorities are safety and ease, but would like to be somewhat cost effective if possible. Looking for some pedal assist too cause my nearly 40 year old quads are soft. What are all of you riding and what do you recommend??

Car - cyclist incident 7/9/26 17:30
Hi, if anyone has any footage of traffic incident at North Wall roundabout R131 where R802 merges from the left hand side from this evening 17:30 green car vs bicycle it would be much appreciated if you could contact me.
Ie the big roundabout coming off the east wall
Bridge by the point.
Thanks to other cyclist for asking me if I was okay and for the driver of the truck behind me for their observation and not driving on.

Because Gardai, DLR Council, delivery vans, painters and others keep parking in them. And don't forget the bins of course.

Dundrum Gardai don't respect school pencil bollards
Air conditioning works happening at the station, so it's OK to park Garda vehicles behind the pencil bollards and let the construction crew park on the footpath apparently.
Pavement parking is illegal and endangers vulnerable pedestrians, especially people with sight loss.

Firmware upgrade to SyncEV charger not updating, via Monta
My home charger from SyncEV has been showing a firmware upgrade waiting for installation for a couple of weeks now.
I've done the Update Firmware operation from Monta a few times and it shows in the log as 'Firmware update requested', but the update doesn't progress.
I've tried soft rebooting the charger from Monta and hard rebooting it from the isolator switch but that doesn't change anything. The charger is working normally and charging away when connected.
Is anyone else having the same issue?
