Nagohul Kor'zo, leader of my warband.

I wanted to change from goatmen, and a big piggy with an axe would be a perfect fit for my warband, so I created the head from scratch. I'm not used to sculpting and I achieved what I had in mind, very happy with the result. I think the next one will be a dear like the kelpies.

Beastmen! Part 2

My first beastmen post yesterday was well received, so I thought I'd show off a little more of my army, including a 40k fellgor ravager that I converted into a bestigor, some warhounds, a couple of spawn and a Bray shaman. Hope you guys enjoy x

Has anyone read any black library stuff featuring beastmen that they particularly enjoyed? I've read a lot, would be keen to hear your favourite beastmen books/scenes/moments 😊

Beastmen!

I've only had reddit for a few days, so I may be jumping the gun a bit, but I've not seen much love for the beastmen so I thought I'd share some photos of mine 😊

I'd be keen to hear from people about their favourite things about the beastmen, what units they like playing, favourite models or lore etc.

Preyton

Preyton for my beastmen

Beautiful model and really fun to work on. It was really nice to cut loose and go crazy with colours.

Also I am so happy with the blood effects.

It's UHU glue, covered in about 10 layers of gloss varnish and blood for the blood god (alternating).

It's a really fun effect and I think it looks awesome!

A call to (Left) Arms! (for Gors)

Hello friends, took ten years off from playing Warhammer, and my eight year old just got me back into it recently. I have a fledgling beast herd: (2 chariots, one unit of gors (12), a herd of minotaurs (6) and some chaos hounds(10). When I left off playing I had 8 unbuilt gors still on their sprues, but somewhere in the ravages of storage, moving, time, or whatver, I have lost their left arms. Right arms, I have in spades. I would rather not greenstuff out tentacles for them (that's a lot of mutated gors...).

Does anyone know where I might be able to find eight left gor arms of any flavor (I seem to recall they had fists that could be outfitted with shields and I have built all of my currently built ones with two hand weapons)? I scoured ebay and didn't see anything but I figured there might be some in the bits boxes of other beastman collectors. Happy to buy them, obviously.

Sorry to make my first post a "can I get some help" sort of post. Promises to post pictures of the painted gors in a few weeks if I can get some arms!

AOS gors

So i posted this in the AOS subreddit n wanted to get your opinions here aswell. Since we got the pestigors Ive wondered if we would see some more god flavoured gors n maybe a kind of revival in AOS my first ever army was beasts of chaos n would love to see some new sculpts and a return to AOS with some new types of beasts and gors

How to run chaos trolls?

So I have 6 chaos trolls from a lot I bought recently and I'd like to run them in a list. Even only for the memes. Problem is, they seem really useless. Stupidity with abismal leadership and whatever you'd want them to achieve on the tabletop, dragon ogres and minotaurs (maybe even chaos ogres) do better.

Am I missing something? Is there a combo that would make their performance acceptable?

Painted My First Beasts!

I’m pretty new to the hobby and I’ve recently bought a box of Gor but I’m a little intimidated as I’m not an experienced painter, so I also got a few cheap Gor and Ungor to practise on before I finalise the look of my army.

I’m just focussing on the painting for now as I plan on basing after everything is finished but I was just generally looking for feedback on these.

I have a few more models to practise on and am still trying to work out how to do the banner, I also like the idea of adding runes to their skin to make them stand out on the tabletop, but just generally putting them out into the world to see if there’s any glaring things wrong!

Edit: these specific models were pre built and already had a layer of primer on so I didn’t remove the mould lines, but I have been doing it with my new box I’m building up.

Smoulderhoof Herdstone

Custom terrain piece for the Path to Glory: Blighted Wilds system. What better way to (re-)summon a herd of minotaurs!
