Does anyone know what the bits spiralling round the horns are? Not sure if I should paint them as plants like on the rock, metal like barbed wire, or leave them as bone. Or something else?

Anyone near Falkirk in Scotland and fancy being the 8th player in a casual 600-1200-2000 The Old World escalation day tomorrow (Sunday 30th)? Otherwise I’m stuck as umpire 😫😂

Only 7 quid, pay at the venue, let me know if you’re interested and I’ll send you the pack

Vanished photos, any help greatly appreciated.

I should begin by saying I'm not hugely computer literate, so apologies in advance if I'm being stupid or missing basics, or have absurd working practices.

long story short(ish), I tried to import 4000 photos from a memory card, there was not enough room on my SSD, so I abandoned that and downloaded them onto my HD and then imported a first batch of a thousand over to lightroom. I started working on them deleted about 150ish, developed 150ish and exported the watermarked images for customer to peruse.

I then shut down lightroom and backed up the catalog. I shut down the PC and got a message about one drive not responding properly. When I opened it again, all today's images were gone, although the empty folder remains. When I try to bring the images back across from the HD, they show as having already been imported and don't give an (obvious to me) option to import them again.

I've looked up the LRCAT date file where i think the back up lies, possibly it does not, and todays shows as pending sync, not sure if this matters? Not really sure what I could do with the file anyway?

I can try and answer any questions you may have as to what the hell I've been doing, but as you may perhaps have gleaned, I'm a little clueless.

Update: lightroom came up with a message saying it had to close, it then did, when i reopened the folder from today had gone completely, BUT, the images on the HD can now be imported again. Not 100% sure I should in case I am ballsing something up and i repeat the process.
