Should i buy a brand new Brixton?

Im thinking about buying the Felsberg XC but i dont know if i should? The dealer gives a 5-month guarantee which is odd and the price is around 99.000₺/1.770€. And I've heard that the company (Brixton not the seller) has gone bankrupt. It is going to be my first motorcycle and I am a bit short around 165cm/5'4.

I built my own M-Unit because I'm a cheapskate

Been wiring up my ‘82 GS750E and really wanted one of the smart power modules. Momentary buttons on the bars, everything switched centrally, no fuse panel to dig through when something stops working. Looked at the price, decided I’d rather spend six months learning PCB design. Not sure that was the correct financial decision but here we are.

It handles 12 circuits, runs off an ESP32, and there’s a phone app for control and seeing what’s actually going on with each output, including over current protection, fault detection, and battery voltage monitoring.

You can assign button press combinations to unlock the bike, or use your existing key, or just walk up to it with your phone in your pocket.

Button press combinations can be set to trigger different outputs or combinations of outputs so you can have fewer buttons than accessories.

In the enclosure it's 97x86x20mm (3.8x3.4x0.8") so it tucks nicely under the seat.

Open source, so you can build your own if you’re so inclined: Github

Happy to answer questions about any of it. If a few people want one without doing the fabrication themselves I might order a batch.

Need help finding female plug

Clutch switch for most Suzukis, offset 2 spade plug on the clutch perch. Looks like the plug for this is only sold on the full wiring harness. I was hoping someone in this group has an old Suzuki they're parting out willing to pull that plug for me. Or anyone who has a lead on the female plug itself.

*I do not want to bypass my clutch switch. Thank you.*

What motorcycle myth do people still believe that isn't true?

My mom still thinks motorcycles are basically death machines 😂 Every time I tell her I'm going for a ride she hits me with the whole “be careful, people can't see you” speech.

I get where she's coming from, and obviously bikes can be dangerous if you're riding like an idiot, but I don't think just owning a motorcycle automatically means you're gonna end up hurt.

Honestly, I feel like a lot of it comes down to how you ride, knowing your limits, wearing the right gear, and paying attention.

What motorcycle myth do you guys still hear all the time?

How do y'all design your seat latches?

I'm diy-ing a seat for my cb750 that fell into my lap. My original plan was to 3d print some L brackets to attach the bottom of the seat to the inside of the frame. But I really don't like these bolt holes and raw bolts just hanging out the side of the frame. Could y'all give me some ideas of how you attached your seats to the frame pipes?

What's the one ride you'll never forget?

One of the rides that really stuck with me was going from California out to Utah. I wasn't expecting it to be anything crazy, but once I got further out, the scenery was honestly unreal.

The mountains, open roads, and all the different colors in the landscape were crazy to see from a bike. I caught myself stopping a bunch just to take pictures and look around. Definitely one of those rides where you kinda forget about everything else for a while.

I'd do that trip again in a heartbeat.

My Triumph Speed Triple

I can't seem to post anywhere due to low karma. Hopefully this wont be taken down. Classified Moto built this out of Richmond. I've been everywhere with it including film and tv.

Cross bar delete?

I see a lot of builds remove this crossbar (red). I’m reading that it helps keep the frame from twisting? Since I see so many builds without it, am I safe in removing it? What if I reweld a flat bar towards the end (highlighted in green).

Want to hear peoples thoughts

Hi, I built myself some indicators for a personal project bike of mine it ended up being quite popular looking when buying indicators online I've realised options kinda suck unless u want the stock looking basic indicators similar to ones that come from factory on the bike.

I've been debaiting making more of these for people who want something special and to stand out as we all know our bikes are special and people want new unique parts.

I've always wanted to make an inpactful mark in the custom bike world has always been a dream of mine.

Please keep in mind are just first prototypes and in no way a final complete item.

I'm here to hear opinions on these and what people think there worth (I'm not selling here at all)

I'd love to know:

Whats your opinions on there design?

What you think these would be worth?

Do you see this as a gimmick?

What type of bikes you think this will suit?

Any any other opinions thoughts or suggestions are welcome

Thank you in advance to anyone who shares thoughts feedback or anything. This may go nowhere

Ps. I'd also be happy to listen to anyone else's ideas if this style isn't your thing

New seat arrived for the Thruxton RS Ton Up

Loving the full Alcantara. I think I’ll use Alcantara more often than just on Ducati builds.
