First post here, actually ever in Reddit. Couldn't resist to share a picture of my cat mirin at me. He was purring like a little motor. He's name is Lion, that's the reason I called him that on the tittle.

However, he normally goes to make dinner right after he practices, so I'm not as convinced that she's as enamored of the arts as he thinks she is.

many years ago now, my childhood cat lived to almost 21 years old. I went on a birthday trip and came home from the airport and immediately went to wake her up. She was deaf by this point and didn't hear me come in, so getting to wake her up and be greeted with this look on her face and lots of cuddles felt great after being dumped on my birthday after flying cross country during the pandemic. She always made me feel so loved and I knew she was happy to see me anytime I left the house (even to get the mail).

Really thought I was losing him yesterday. 24 hours and some good anti-sickness meds later, we're back in our happy place. He's my whole world, and I'll do anything for him. But he needs to not do that again and we're very lucky he got sick the same week I got paid a significant amount of back paid disability benefits.
