Last year I swagged my hallway ceiling with garland and loved the idea, but it didn’t “hold,” so it came down early.

This year, I’m looking for similar inspiration and would love to see successful installations!

I’ve always wanted a wireframe of some sort in our display so I was able to score two of them for one heck of a deal through a municipal Christmas group i belong to . The double bell is literally brand new just needs c9 bulbs which I have . Brand new those go for 600 dollars or more . The candle wireframe needs a little Tlc but nothing major just some rustoleum white for some spots. I’ll probably get all new c7 bulbs to brighten it up! These will be attached to a t-post and guy wires for securement on our driveway. Should I add garland the wireframe?

I am looking for ideas for a non-traditional Christmas “tree”. I have a crazy active cat who likes to climb all over typical artificial trees, getting the branches all out of place and sometimes tipping it over. Plus, also have a toddler who I think would do similar things 😂

Last year, I made a “stuffed” tree so to speak (picture above). This year I am trying to brainstorm other solutions but coming up blank! Any ideas?

I want to change it up a bit this year but not sure, thinking maybe adding some green? Have I been doing too much and should try a more minimalist style? Should I go in the opposite direction and flank it with two smaller trees either side?

Happy Saturday! I am using the current accordion-style Vinterfint wall decoration to make a surprise for elderlyfamily out of state. I am looking for the older version to make a more modern, minimalist version for their kid who is helping me sneak the surprise into their suite at the nursing home. Does anyone have the old Vinterfint Wall Decoration that was wood and string for sale, or any good suggestions on how to recreate it? I've attached a pic for reference.

I'm getting married next winter and will have a Christmas themed wedding. 🎄 At the altar, I'd like to have a big heart-shaped Christmas wreath that we can stand in front of during the ceremony.

I've included images of:

- another heart-shaped altar arch to illustrate size

- example of the colors of lights I'm going to use

- a sketch of what I imagine it will look like

I'd love to brainstorm some ideas with you all on how build it! Below are some qualities I'd like it to have, if possible.

- Taller than us (>5'6")

- Freestanding (preferred over suspended from ceiling)

- Collapsible for storage

I know this is a long shot, but I’m hoping Reddit can work some magic.

My wife collects nutcrackers, and there’s one she’s wanted for years but has never been able to find: the Ben Wagner designed CB2 nutcracker from around 2014/2015, sometimes referred to as the “Naughty & Nice” or “Tattooed” nutcracker.

It’s the red, white and black one with tattoo-style artwork on the arms. I’ve attached photos so there’s no confusion about which one I’m looking for.

I would absolutely love to surprise her with it for Christmas.

If anyone has one sitting in storage, knows someone who does, or has one in their collection that they’d be willing to part with, I’m happy to pay a fair price plus shipping. Condition doesn’t have to be absolutely perfect.

I’m in Los Angeles, but happy to pay for shipping from pretty much anywhere.
