I want to change it up a bit this year but not sure, thinking maybe adding some green? Have I been doing too much and should try a more minimalist style? Should I go in the opposite direction and flank it with two smaller trees either side?

Yes I know one of the dresses is blue, I’m seeing the couple tomorrow for my nephew’s birthday and would clear it with them of course.

Edit: our younger sister is wearing a navy dress with a gold pattern which got the okay, so the no blue rule might be a bit soft for family.
