Really bloody enjoyed the Padron and Oliva! The Encore was pretty good too but from all the reviews and hype I’ve seen around it I thought I’d love it way more. The Crema was enjoyable and good value. Absolutely hated the Olmec, got through only the first third, first cigar I’ve ever put down.
Humidifier kept riding high so had to get a boveda. Only one I found was a 320g pack at 62%. I know it's over kill but should be OK hey? I read up that the bigger packs need to be a lower % as they are oversize for the humidor and should hopefully give around 67-68%. It's only an adorini 30

Oliva Serie V Lancero:
Probably my favorite size of the Serie V blend.
Note a smoke that strays much from the very clear dark chocolate and leather flavors but every once in a while the retrohale would throw some nutty notes (think rich pistachio or almond vibes)
Burn was impeccable without any touching up required. Just a nice, hands off and watch the world go by smoke
Sombressa Brûlée Blue:
This was my third time smoking this cigar and for some reason it just felt bland compared to the previous times. I’ll chalk it up to palate fatigue but the one thing you can’t escape is the unreal sweetness from it.
Settles in nicely and flows between grassy, hay type notes towards slight peppery hits. Retrohales towards the last 3rd threw in some new, almost dark caramel flavors (the type of notes that carry some slight acrid bite to them)
Now I loved this cigar the first 2 times I’ve smoked it so by no means will this 3rd time turn me off them at all

Got to enjoy a couple of smokes this weekend, which is a rare indulgence for me.
The Le bijou has had around 2.5 years of time aging and it was definitely worth it. I’m very glad to have the rest of the box to enjoy and another vitola with same age. The chocolate and coffee flavours seemed to lift and balance the spice a bit more with the age and the second third was much sweeter than usual. The retro was still quite spicy though.
The Fonseca was average. Not bad for any reason but just a bit boring. Very earthy and one dimensional for flavour. The flavour was the same the whole way, which wouldn’t be bad if it had a little more to it. The construction was flawless though. Luckily I paired this with a new whisky I picked up that was delicious and made the time well spent (Elijah Craig 15 year single barrel).
First of all, I just want to make it clear that I am of legal smoking age. I still live with my parents (because I’m 19), and idk how they will react to me wanting to have a cigar. I don’t want to go in store and buy one, so I’ve decided I want to purchase one online. One very specific question I have though, as I am at uni/work during the day most days, so if a delivery comes it will have to sit there and wait until I get home to collect it. I am wondering if, when purchasing from Australian cigar shops online, on the shipping label, if it shows the details of the sender (e.g. from Cigar Hut, etc), or if it just shows the details of the recipient (my name, my address). Because if my parents end up getting their hands on the package first I don’t think they’ll be too happy. I know it’s a very odd and specific question lol but any help will be appreciated. Thanks all

Granted I’ve only tried the Le bijou (one of my most favourite sticks) and la opulencia. This one I’m not a fan of AT all. Super harsh and bitter tasting to me. What’s everyone’s thoughts on this one?

Hey all, does anybody know if cigars require signature on delivery? Or can they just be left at the door? Because I’m almost never home during the day especially on weekdays, and am hoping they can just leave it in the mailbox or something as I won’t be home to sign. Thanks

Big hits of cedar/oak flavors with the occasional leather and toasted nut flavor (specifically like eating a Brazil nut with a hard to define “funkiness” to it)
My second one of these and it’s just further reinforced my excitement to keep exploring the whole DTT portfolio

First time trying the Sonata after having a few of the Nicaragua Quattro’s; cannot recommend these enough for those of us that are medium - full inclined.
Notes of dark chocolate and spice with a nice leather flavor towards the 2nd half.
I feel like Aging Room often gets forgotten about but every offering I’ve had from them has been wonderful
