York Momentum Treadmill
Be gentle with me. I have lots of questions but little knowledge.
I've recently purchased a treadmill, knowing that it has an electrical/ electronic problem. When the safety switch is closed the display lights up, no error messages then powers down. The treadmill is 20+ years old, in otherwise good condition.
It has the standard 180V DC motor and stepper motor for incline adjustment.
I would like to convert it to manual control. I envision a potentiometer for speed control and a simple momentarily on off on to control incline, with a safety switch for emergency stop. I don't want programmable courses, speed measuring or incline degrees.
How can I bypass the electronic controls and install simple analog manual controls as described?
Thanks in advance
