Have you ever thought you might like the bleedthrough more?

Sometimes, I do! No harsh black lines, just softer colors that almost look like watercolor. 🎨✨
So I finally gave the bleedthrough side of this page a little makeover. I really enjoyed the process and loved how it turned out! 😆💕

Recent ones on cardstock

I really enjoyed both of these free pages from hygge artful. I used alcohol markers, gel pen, and coloured pencil.

Looking for tips to improve my coloring

Hi everyone! I recently started coloring and I’m really enjoying it. I’m completely new to it, so I’m still figuring out things like shading, blending, and choosing colors that work well together.

For those of you who have been coloring for a while, what helped you improve the most when you were starting out?

I’d also appreciate any beginner-friendly coloring resources you’ve personally found useful.

Wings of Fire

I had a tough time doing this book review because I had to wrestle the book from my twin grandsons. (Age 9) both saying they have read some of the books and love them!

As implied Wings of Fire is a coloring book based on the novel series.

Per google:

"Wings of Fire is a popular middle-grade fantasy book series written by Tui T. Sutherland and published by Scholastic. Set in worlds inhabited entirely by intelligent dragons, the books follow young dragons trying to stop wars, fulfill ancient prophecies, and survive dangerous magical conflicts."

The art is done by Brianna Walsh and like the novel is published by scholastic.

This is a fun book to share ! The pages are perforated so easy to take one out and give to your coloring buddy or remove it to copy or use markers. Sadly the pages are not single sided so if you use markers choose carefully.

The illustrations are bold with easier coloring lines with several pages also including a patterned background.

The book was gifted to me by u/Head-armadillo1322 but is still available at Amazon and other venues.

A fun reset with enough detail to keep you occupied but bold enough illustrations that your not stressing.

For fantasy lovers everywhere!

My first stone bridge

Book: Goblins in the Hollow. Artist: Denyse Klette. I was trying to make it look mossy. I had fun working on it & next time I want to try adding pitted spots on the stones. I was afraid to add a background so I'm leaving it as-is for now.
