Destroy my Steam Page - My page has been out for about a month with only 45 wishlists | Starspire Hunters

Hello,

I am making an arpg/incrmental game hybrid game called "Starspire Hunters". You could think of it as Maplestory meets Runescape meets Shelldiver.

Steam Page

My steam page has over 5000 impressions, 2000 views, but I have only been able to walk away with about 45 wishlists (about 2% of views). What could I improve here to, hopefully, convert more views to wishlists?

I plan on revamping my page down the road with improved visuals, description, and capsule art to try to bring more interest, but I would love some feedback and advice before I do so to help guide me to maximize retention.

What stops you from wishlisting? Is the presentation not good enough? Is the premise not interesting or clear enough? Does the game not look fun to you? I would love to hear first impressions and how you'd think it would improve going forward.

I do have an itch.io demo that seems to be well liked. I have gotten a lot of good feedback on what works about the game - plenty of people have really liked it, but I know that might not translate well to a Steam page.

I’m making a game where your base layout is part of the combat

I’m working on Encave, a PC game that mixes first-person combat, tower defense, and underground base-building.

The basic loop is:

Explore the floor
Build and expand your base.
Create corridors, rooms, chokepoints, elevators, and defensive positions.
Then fight alongside your defenses when enemies push into the structure you designed.

The part I’m most interested in is making the base matter during combat, not just before it. I don’t want the building phase to feel like placing decorations or watching numbers go up. Ideally, every corridor shape, turret position, elevator shaft, and fallback point should change how the next attack plays out.

I’m especially looking for feedback on the pitch:

Does FPS + tower defense + underground base-building immediately make sense to you?
What would you expect to see first: building clips, enemy wave clips, exploration, or before/after base-defense examples?
And for this kind of game, would you rather have more freedom to build messy creative bases, or tighter constraints that force stronger tactical decisions?

Need your honest opinion on why my game sucks

I recently released my first game in Early Access and I'm sitting at 55 wishlists. I'd like to figure out what isn't landing — whether it's the store page, the trailer, the concept itself, or just that I did almost no marketing before launch.
Blunt feedback welcome. What would make you scroll past this?

Destroy my first game before the demo release | CarveLight

Hi all,

We are working on an artillery game CarveLight. The game revolves around pushing the enemy cars into the void by carving and traversing a physically simulated terrain. There is no direct damage or health bars.

We would like to get the Steam page in the best possible shape before we release a demo. Any feedback is welcome and appreciated!

Destroy this Steam page: Solar Wave just entered Early Access

Solar Wave just entered Early Access after around three years of development.

I'd really appreciate some brutally honest feedback on the Steam page.

Is it immediately clear what the game is about? Do the screenshots and trailer communicate the scale of the game? Would you understand the gameplay from the page?

Please don't hold back, honest criticism would be very useful!

Obscurium - Horror Deck-Builder Roguelite with Brazilian Folklore | July 3rd | PC/Windows

Hi guys! We're looking for people to playtest Obscurium on July 3rd.

Obscurium is a horror roguelike deckbuilder based on Brazilian folklore. You fight creatures from Brazilian myth like the Capelobo and the Pisadeira using a grid-based card system where positioning changes what happens each turn. Every powerful card you play corrupts your future draws, so your own decisions slowly become the threat across the run. The art direction is woodcut print style, black ink and red accents only.

What stage it's at: this is our first external playtest. The core loop is working and we want real players telling us what feels confusing, what feels good, and where they lost interest.

What we need from you: play for 30 to 60 minutes and fill out a short form after with about 10 questions. If you want to hop on a quick voice call to talk through the experience, even better but totally optional.

Who's a good fit: anyone who plays card games or deckbuilders. You don't need to know anything about Brazilian folklore.

Platform: PC / Windows only.

Sign up here: https://obscurium.firstlook.gg/

Feel free to comment or DM me if you have any questions!

8 years ago I started making a game with zero experience. Today it's finally launching.

Eight years ago I had an idea inspired by the card games I used to play with my father.

He constantly invented rules, cheated, and turned every match into complete chaos.

Oddly enough... the chaos made the game better.

That idea stayed in my head for years.

Eventually I decided to turn it into a videogame.

I had never developed a game before.

No publisher.

No investors.

No team.

Just thousands of hours after work learning programming, design, Steam, marketing... everything.

Today the game is finally almost ready.

I'm honestly terrified that after all these years nobody will even know it exists.

If you'd like to have a look, I'd love any kind of feedback.
