Still one of the most stunning looks for Jasmine.
Jim Cummings, Disney's legendary VA, is coming to FANEXPO Canada in August!
Sadly, I can't attend due to being from Britain. 🙁 That being said, I hope those of you who ARE from Canada and might be considering attending the expo have a good time if and when you get there. It honestly warms my heart that, despite his age, Jim still makes time for the fans of his work in the 90s and beyond. We're very lucky to still have him with us. I hope that, someday, he can make it back to the UK and visit one of our conventions again.

Does anyone else remember this forgotten Disney gem?
I first discovered it back in the early 90s thanks to a funny mistake. A friend knew how much I loved the movie, so he bought me what he thought was the soundtrack on CD. (In his defense, the title is quite misleading)
It turned out to be one of the happiest musical accidents of my life.
Not only was it the first Disney album I ever owned on CD, but I was absolutely blown away by how pristine it sounded compared to the cassettes I was used to.
I was hooked straight away. It's basically a concept album when you listen to it in order, with its own story and identity. It takes place before the movie events, so no Ursula (boo!), but the rest of the original voice actors reprise their respective roles.
Musically, it leans much more toward polished late 80s and early 90s pop than the classic Ashman and Menken sound. While it's very different from the songs from the film, it never feels like a lesser imitation. Instead, it has its own distinct identity. Even though each song was written by a different songwriting team, the album maintains a remarkably cohesive musical DNA. The production is consistently rich and polished, making it feel like a complete artistic work rather than a collection of unrelated tracks.
My favorite upbeat tracks are "H2O" and "The Sea Kingdom," while "Dreaming" is absolutely gorgeous. Jodi Benson's vocals on that song are just stunning.
I've always felt this album never got the love it deserved. I'd love to know if anyone else remembers it, or if I'm one of the few still listening all these years later.
No official release on any music streaming services afaik, but here's the album on YouTube. Take the time and listen in order if you can!

I hope we get a similar photoshoot with Demi Lovato and Selena Gomez for a possible sequel to Princess Protection Program to this first photoshoot of Jamie Lee Curtis and Lindsay Lohan on the set of Freakier Friday which was freaky friday 2 at the time.
Deelahn-Spirestone Presents: Disney Inspired 'Tangled' Housing Build
Come along with me as we explore the whimsical 'Tangled' tower in a hidden canyon. This build is filled with many "Easter eggs" referencing the movie for which its inspiration blossomed from. The build is the recent winner of Twitch personalities: Elphiee and Dvalin's Discord Hearth & Craft Community. This award-winning World of Warcraft Housing build might be one of my saved builds when "save" is launched live! We'll see how this new feature pans out.
Thank you, friends, for visiting my post and blessings unto you.
Love,
Deelahn
There is hope that Princess Protection Program will finally get a sequel following the recent reunion of Demi Lovato and Selena Gomez, The Camp Rock Franchise finally getting a 3rd installment and The Wizards of Waverly Place got a revival in the form of Beyond Waverly Place.

Send It On sung by The Jonas Brothers, Demi Lovato, Selena Gomez and Miley Cyrus and One and The Same sung by Demi Lovato and Selena Gomez are both songs that are long overdue for a live performace following the Demi and Selena's recent reunion.
What are your thoughts on Michael Eisner as Disney's CEO?
Most of my childhood was in the Eisner era (I was born in '84) and I thought, for most of his time, he did a great job. He brought about the Disney renaissance with The Little Mermaid, Beauty and the Beast, etc... and made some big changes at the parks. Before him, The Walt Disney Company was struggling. However, around the end of the century, he seemed to stop caring and making too many mistakes. In my opinion, the straith to cassette/DVD sequels were part of it. I believe that, when he was removed and replaced by Bob Iger (whom, I feel, followed a similar path), it was definitely needed.
What are your thoughts?
Song of the South - post watching comments (controversial discussion removed for rules)
Well this one is controversial and for good reason don't get me wrong, HOWEVER, now knowing more about the production and seeing it myself, I feel like this movie is actually very charming and heartwarming out of context. It's my fav one so far actually.
Lets talk about the movie itself on its own merits. I just love Uncle Remus. He is so charming and wholesome in this. The story is also good and of course the animated parts are fun as it shows some of Disney's best style of animated comedy imo. This is the kind of whimsical movie tone I know Disney for and they are best at. It's just sad it had to be established from this of all places. I'm glad they managed to crawl it back with Mary Poppins after this.
The only couple of things I have to criticize is the kinda rough acting of the kids in some places but I mean...they are kids. I feel like its a bit mean to call them bad actors and maybe its the era since maybe they are more professional now and I am more used to that so it stands out idk. It didn't bother me most of the time but when they tried to cry it just felt so fake and wrong. Sorry kids.
Also the ending was a little too dramatic. I mean, it was one of the first Disney movies to do this so it wasn't really over done at the time so maybe it's just me look back at it but it did feel kinda forced and over the top. What do you guys think of the ending? Would love to know you guys opinions, obviously within reason. :3
“Mortal” A Trials of Apollo Song [toa]
I turned the song “Monster” from the broadway adaptation of Frozen into a song based on the Trials of Apollo book series by Rick Riordan. I’m a huge TOA and Percy Jackson fan so I wanted to make a tribute to this book series. I made the song in Apollo’s POV and added elments from the “Fall of Jason Grace” song described in The Tyrants Tomb.🐍 🎹 This song was originally about Elsa being labeled a monster in Frozen and I thought it fit well for this characterization of Apollo/Lester. I thought using Hercules visuals would aid in the Greek God theme haha
I hope you like it, this was just a fun lyric swap cover I enjoyed making 😊
Lyrics:
They’ve finally come, come to knock down my door
I can't hide this time like I hid before
Emperors are awake, the danger is real
My power’s running out, don't feel, don't feel
"It's not how long you live that matters, it's what you live for."
That's what Jo once said to me
That I’ve never heard it before
All this pain, all this fear began because of me
Is the thing they see, the thing I have to be?
A mortal, were they right?
Has the human in me finally come to light?
Just a mortal, with a pimply face
Breaking so many oaths, on a rampage
Or am I just a prophecy, on a page
Defeat Python, bring back Delphi
Keep your guard up (no harm comes to them)
Bring back Delphi, defeat Python
Keep your guard up
What do I do?
No time for crying now
I've started this war
Gotta stop it somehow
Do I keep on fighting?
How far do I have to go?
And will that take the threat away
Or only make it grow?
I'm making my friends suffer
How long can they survive?
Is everyone in danger, as long as I'm alive?
Was I a sun god from the start?
How did I end up with this broken heart?
Bringing a sad song to the stage
Caught in a war that I never meant to wage
How do I keep my promise to Jason?
Zeus
Father, you know what's best for me
If I die, will they be free?
Meg, what if after I'm gone
Nero finds you again and the war rages on?
No, I have to stay alive to fix what I've done
Remember what it's like to be a Lester
And bring back the sun
If I'm a mortal, and it's true (Defeat python, bring back delphi)
There's only one thing that's left for me to do (keep your guard up)
So before I’m fated to die (Defeat python, bring back delphi)
I'll do all that I can to make things right (keep your guard up)
I will not break my promise
I cannot break my promise
Not tonight (mortal, mortal)
I compare a René Magritte painting to Buzz Lightyear
I'm fascinated by René Magritte's work, and found myself comparing his The Treachery of Things to Buzz Lightyear's character arc in the first Toy Story film.
I am not a prolific painter, but this is my way of leaning into such a wonderful artistic style. I have a passion for drawing parallels to other art, and finding a space for discussion between the two.

youtu.beIf Mr. Big had a Son Instead of a Daughter, what would the son look like?
Well, I once made a post on this subreddit about a general concept on what would happen if Mr. Big had a son instead of a daughter but now, I’m wondering what the potential son look like.
Would he be a an adult or teenager for his own story? Would he act like his dad or be against the mafia lifestyle? Would he wear a tuxedo or suit or regular clothing? Would he have combed black hair like Fru Fru?
Please feel free to come up with ideas and tell me your thoughts In the comments below!
