I didn’t expect that Jackson, Oliver, Justin, Harper and Matt McGuire would be together in a convention on Houston, TX. If anyone went to NostalgiaCon tell me your experience meeting them.
I remember back then, people with the wings, mop top or JB haircut were the most troublemakers, pranksters, they get ladies easily. I guess for 2020 is still mostly the same.
I based on the plot, nostalgia, humor, writing, etc. However before you say anything, the show is good but it doesn’t hit the mark like the Drake and Josh. It gets repetitive, digusting, characters don’t evolve that much as in Drake and Josh. And that’s my there’s more episodes on the average tier or mediocre than on Good. So the show itself gets a B tier. Don’t get me wrong I love ICarly but there’s moments where they need to calm down, or rewrite something. What you think? If any concerns with an episode I will be happy to answer.

Again this is based on nostalgia, episode appearance, rhythm, lyrics. And this was a very hard choice since most of the songs are very good. A huge step up from the self titled album.

So Im curious tbh, this applies to the rest of the cast since I met most of the band on Nostalgia Con 2 months ago. Stephen is cool but sarcastic guy, James was alright, Melise is wonderful, Kendall is a sweetheart. I didn’t have time to meet Logan, Daran (the guy who plays Buddha Bob) is very nice . But tell me this did anyone met the rest of the cast how’s Carlos, Ciara, Tanya, Katelyn, Erin, The girls who plays the Jennifers, Bitters and Craig (David Anthony Higgins), Kendall’s and Katie’s Mom, etc. are they nice or rude in person?
IMO the best song from BTR and the most popular one, that is better than Boyfriend. Hbu guys?
As a Gen Z I started going to conventions 11 years ago, but where I used to live there wasn’t any guests. But last year and this year it changed everything. When I became an adult and enough savings I started going to conventions and being interested in meeting celebrities, I want to know your experiences, and I will leave a comment the 2 people that stand up the most by me. (It can be photo-ops, panel, booths, etc).
This is my rating for the people I met on NostalgiaCon Houston on april, overall it was decent but I expected better but the guests were much better than the 2025 version. So here it is:
Jerry Trainor: 10/10 great guy, good to talk around, he reminded me about Tyler someone related to Socko, 60 dollars was worth it, etc.
Frankie Muniz: 10/10 Great person, I expected a little bit more. He gave a shoutout to one server dedicated to Malcolm In The Middle. He loved going to my hometown where he went to another convention. I got a autograph by him, sweet.
James Maslow: 5/10, quick interaction, he gave a Brainsurge info and that’s it.
Khary Payton: 7/10 He was nice, but nothing special.
Mindy Sterling: 10/10, very nice asf and actually while taking to her, we roleplayed if I was making trouble in school.
Ned’s Desclassfied main trio (Devon, Lindsey and Daniel): I don’t want to be hypocrite here even tho im not fan of the podcast, as people imma give them 9 or 10 idk: We talked about the show, Daniel recognized from the last convention I went. I had a good convo for them. I didn’t say nothing negative or hypocritical, due to avoid bad stuff.
Deven Mack: 10/10 Great guy, a humble dude, even tho I barely know him
Ryan Ochoa: 10/10 Cool dude, this line got stuck in my head: “Remember im a nice guy but bad guy on TV”
Stephen Kramer Glickman: 1000/10 one of the best people I met, he remembered about Brainsurge, Dogs catchphrase, and loved my singing about the turd song.
Malese Jow: 100000/10 IMO the best guest I met, she’s so sweet and nice. Even without money, she gave a shoutout to my sister, said to me: I was the best, she loved my memory about Vampires Diaries, BTR and Unfabulous. She was curious if we came the day before, it’s like talking we are old buddies.
Britt Baron: 9/10, Nice lady she acknowledged that halo 5 is hard.
