My fish app is telling me it’s a river carp sucker but google lens is telling me it’s a quill back. Any feedback would be appreciated
Caught in the San Francisco Bay
Caught from the opening of a creek into a large river, pretty sure i spotted him or some sort of silver/white fish jumping out of the water before he bit worm.
Cutty, Coastal Cutty, bow? Still learning :)
Caught these guys up in the SolDuc river in Washington, near the town of Beaver. I think these are cutthroat trout, but they are missing the red mark on the throat. I broke out a freshwater fish field guide and they look the most like golden trout. I could use some more experienced assistance
I thought bass has stripes. It was 10ish maybe 6-7ish lbs.
Edit: For reality check.
Could it be rubberlip seaperch??
Caught in Lake Erie. I was baffled by the size.
I know the Sennet, and Mackerel but I’ve been starring at these others ones losing my mind of what is a cigar minnow and what is a herring or something else.
Caught in the tennessee river near chickamauga dam.
So my attempted guesses would be 1. Pumpkinseed x green sunfish 2. Bluegill x Green sunfish 3. Bluegill x Green sunfish. But tbh i feel like i have no idea. Ik it's not perfect pics to ID but if anyone has any input it would be greatly appreciated!
I caught these two redhorse in the lower Genesee river redhorse are hard for me to identify and I can't figure out what these guys are. For the first one I think it's a golden and I'm assuming the second is a shorthead
Just getting back into fishing - don’t usually fish ultra light tackle for bream. This is by far the biggest green sunfish I’ve seen.. or is it a Greengill? Thanks!
Hello All,
Appreciate any insight for those that are better at identifying between largemouth and spotted bass than myself.
What do you think largemouth or spotted?
Edit 1: it’s a spotted bass and what I was leaning towards due the jawline not extending past eye.
Thanks for all who helped!
Fish was caught in an alpine lake in WA, stocked with rainbows, cutthroat, and golden many many years ago
