Well, sort of.

Last week, I was driving to work and was listening to the show. I teach K-6 at an alternative school for kids with big behavior and academic needs. Jordan started the episode by playing the Hot To Go parody that was performed by The Cookie Monster.

I laughed so hard and immediately thought it would be a funny video to play for my students to start the day. So I did, and it was a huge hit. One week later, the kids are still talking about it, and staff are singing it.

Thank you to Jordan, Emily, and Matt for the joy and laughter you bring into our lives each week. It starts with the podcast and ripples out into the world in unexpected ways. You helped make a classroom full of students dealing with hard circumstances laugh and feel like kids, and it doesn’t get much better than that.

IYKYK, this little buzz saw thing is called a Smart Disc and was introduced in Predator 2: Electric Boogaloo. However, like most physical media, it was replaced by streaming services like Pandora and Spotify. Sad.

I wouldn't be surprised if that was a first draft from the original film before they changed it to "If it bleeds, we can kill it" instead.
