Favorites from my recent trip to Florence. Any improvements I could make?
I just got the x100vi and have the small rig lens hood on it. Looking for a hard shell case for when I’m traveling with this.
This is the only one I could find on Amazon. It fits well but is super snug and just fits the camera. I’d have to take off all of the accessories each time which I’m trying to avoid, if possible. Any suggestions would be appreciated.
Grabbed a bite a Korean pub last night and snapped a few shots. Used Cuban class recipe. Would love some feedback 🙏🏼
Hey all I just got my x100vi I’m so excited I’ve been wanting this camera for a while I used to shoot a lot till life happened haha. But I just wanted to know if you guys had any tips and tricks or just anything you wish you knew when you got the camera! Thanks in advance!
Hi everyone,
I have been testing my first Fujifilm film simulation recipe on the X100VI and wanted to share a few sample frames with this community.
It is called Classic Istanbul Neg.
The recipe is based on Classic Negative and came from the kind of light I often see while walking Istanbul: pale blue-grey skies, warm street details, old stone textures, crowds, ferries, birds, and quick everyday moments. I wanted it to carry some of that feeling without being limited to Istanbul itself.
The look I was aiming for is warm without becoming overly vintage, colorful without feeling too digital, with natural blues, soft highlights, and a documentary mood for everyday street photography.
A small exposure note: +1/3 EV can be a useful starting point in cloudy light, shaded streets, or scenes that feel a little too dark.
Shot on Fujifilm X100VI with the fixed 23mm lens.
I would appreciate honest feedback on the color and mood, especially from X100VI users who shoot in different cities or light.
For the full settings and more sample photos, I shared them on my latest Instagram post under sefafilms.
I purchased an X100VI from FB Marketplace last year, unfortunately the top shutter/iso dial is broken. They don't change the settings correctly and send the camera into haywire mode pretty fast. The camera is fully functional through the use of custom button mapping, where the shutter and iso can be adjusted using the front and back dials. It's honestly faster to shoot this way. I'd like to move on from this camera I can't justify selling it at market value.
They still seem to be selling at near MSRP, would $300 off make this a worthwhile purchase for someone else? $1400?
