I know they may be a huge amount of grimes haters put there over the last decade, but give the girl a break- she probably had no f*cling clue what she was getting herself into when Elon "somehow" got her attention..or attraction, (in my opinion, Eww, it would have been rad to see her bi-sexual side flourish.. before she met Musk. But no matter how her personality may turn alot of ppl off, or make you think she doesn't have the slightest clue about what she's talking about- you might be wrong, she may just not know how to fully express her unique, intelligence.. to think, if she never met Musk, maybe she wouldn't have just 'gone along for the ride' and been brainwashed by him and his influence or whatever.

BUT..I will always have a crush on her, though, allegedly!

It was a religious experience. I’d spent so much time and effort trying to be “normal” and kill off all the “weirdness” in me that would float back up to the surface like a buoy. I’d never known anyone like me before. Then one day I was watching a hair tutorial on YouTube and I liked the song she put in the background- “Grimes- Oblivion.” I checked out the video and found the girl very interesting. I went to watch one of her interviews and I started shaking. I’d never seen a girl before just be her natural, strange, unapologetic self- in fact she seemed to like that “weirdness” that I’d grown to try and kill off inside of myself for so long, that everyone around me if they sensed even a whiff of would bite back at it in disgust. Not grimes- she wore it loud, and proud, and wore it in her hair, in her mannerisms, in her clothes, in her art. It’s making me cry even just writing about it.

For years I’d look up her tumblr or instagram to see if she’d posted again and I’d always be shaking and trembling when I read whatever new post was there. It was like a religious experience.

It’s weird huh. She’s my personal Eve of Adam and Eve- she showed me it’s safe to be exactly who and what I am inside. She’s been wasted on Elon and she botches her face to meet some societal mainstream standard, when she’s unlike anything or anyone seen ever before and so much bigger than that. She’s touched me in the most deep and profound way possible from the other side of the world, and she doesn’t even know, whilst she nips and tucks and prods and fills her skin as if her beauty and brilliance was only cosmetic.

I hope she gets her light back. I love you grimes 💗🌎☮️

it seems like the elf.tech website is temporarily inactive so i'm asking if some of you has the ableton files she uploaded on the webiste some time ago

if im not wrong there were some ableton projects of her songs and i wanted to download them but sadly they disappeared :(

I've wanted to remix Grimes for a long time, but I always ran into the same problem: her music is so unique and well-crafted that it's really hard to work with without feeling like you're taking away from what makes it special.

Today I finally finished a remix of Player of Games, and for the first time I felt like I had something worth sharing.

There are still things I want to improve. I know some of the vocals don't fit as well as I'd like, but I decided to share it anyway instead of letting the project sit unfinished on my hard drive forever.

If you're a Grimes fan, I'd genuinely love to hear what you think. What works? What would you change? Any constructive feedback is more than welcome and would really help me improve this remix.

Thoughts on Sign from God with Cobrah now that's officially out? I think it's... fine? Not super interesting, but I'd add it to the right playlist. A decent collab but not really a true "Grimes" song imo. I'm having a little trouble seeing how it would fit into a full Grimes album?
