While everyone in the cast is great, in my opinion, Alice Halsey as Laura was the clear standout.

I read this part of the show is completely fictional, which bums me out because I found their friendship super sweet and heartwarming.

It doesn’t seem like he started acting on those desires until sometime in the ‘80s, at least as far as we know. It seems like it was around the Bad era in the late ‘80s, at the height of his fame, when the abuse of kids really escalated.

I saw Inception once in the theater when it came out and I think the ending and themes explored in it made me question reality to the point where I had an anxiety attack while having lunch with friends. Might be why I haven’t rewatched it since, even though I think my mind is more resilient and I could handle those thoughts better now.

I remember watching this as a kid when it aired and being psyched because I always wanted to know who were the voices behind the characters.

Caught some of this show back in the day. I’ve recently started rewatching it and now think it is one of the best animated shows ever.

I would say Boy Meets World fits this category. It started out as a goofy sitcom about a kid and his family and gradually became a pretty heavy teen drama as the cast got older. Roseanne also started out lighthearted and got pretty emotional and heavy in later seasons.
