Ok, so I have watched a decent amount of romance Anime, but Haimiya is the first romance manga I have read without an anime adaptation ( I have also read one Manwha without an anime ).
Judging by the sales this manga has, I would guess it’s all but guaranteed it will get an adaptation with time and once there is enough content for it. ( IK it will probably still be a few years until then I’m not impatient ).
What I was wondering was what the chances are of getting a good studio for said adaptation, such as electric circus (blue box) or Cloverworks (MDUD, TFFTBWD). IK a lot of romance manga struggle to get high quality adaptations, or adaptations that adapt the entire source material, however Haimiya sells really well, and is probably the best selling romance right now behind TFFTBWD ( since Blue Box just ended ) from what I have seen on some charts, though I might have missed some.
So yeah any answers will be greatly appreciated!
P.S. I honestly don’t care if we don’t get a great studio or anything, I would be plenty happy with just an adaptation I general so, just wondering lol

Come on England
I asked a friend for a commission of haimiya and I absolutely LOVED it! It looks pretty and clean on her paint like style. She's still new to doing commission and she's not getting a lot of commissions yet. So please, if you loved the style of the art, consider messaging me so that we can help her find her target audiences!
But the fan so crazy is coming 😭
