Taken on all sorts of adventures it probably shouldn’t have been taken on, then I hammered out a valve after the lash adjustment stripped out suddenly.
It's still a work in progress but I've gone on a few rides now and am quite happy.
Enjoying this bike so much.
I(21M) was wondering what your guys' opinions were on this listing I saw on FB marketplace. Yes, I am a new rider, and I know that starting on a 600cc is not advised. I welcome any criticisms and willing to hear them out about not starting on a 300 or 400, but I have experience with manual transmissions and a semi-fast car. I also have a clean driving record, so I am capable of respecting the vehicles I drive, and those around me.
My heart is not set on getting a cbr600rr, nor do I feel the need to buy a bike this instant but just saw this listing and it piqued my interest and was wondering if you guys had any opinions on the listing at first glance. I was concerned about the bike being a track bike for over 10 years and am not sure about it due to this fact, but it does seem like the owner really cares about the bike, and appears to be in good condition, but what do I know about bikes as a new rider. I would really appreciate some opinions or anything I should look for on the bike if I were to meet up with the seller.
I can send more images in DMs if anyone wants to see the other images posted in the listing, I did not want to spam this post. I greatly appreciate any input.
Hey all,
Over the past few years I’ve noticed the biker wave has basically died amongst riders near me
Sure, some riders still do it. Maybe 50% on a good day if I’m being generous. But I remember when I first got licensed, it seems like most if not all bikes would give the two fingers back
What’s changed? Where’s all the camaraderie? I remember pulling up to a gas station and knowing if there’s another bike there, we’d at bare minimum chat about bikes lol and now, it’s almost like other bikers ignore me. If I pulled over on the side of the road, other people would pull over asking if everything is ok - now, I pull over, and nothing
Oh, and before you ask, I ride both sport bikes and Harley’s and I wave at everyone so don’t give me shit lol
My back tyre of activa is leaking air,I went to the repair shop and they checked and didn't find any leak on the tyre.there was a puncture and it was patched from inside the tyre about 3 months ago , this leaking started about 2 months ago.the activa is just 6 months old and only driven 2.5k km .
What should I do now will I get any assistance if I go to the activa service centre or should I visit another repair shop
I’ve had a few other bikes before these, most notably a 2012 Nc700X. This is where the collection has landed, and each brings something unique to the table for me.
I do feel like one day I’d like a dedicated track bike. The 2013 CBR600RR in HRC livery is at the top of my list!
Hey guys, im looking at some after market fairings for my 98 vfr800fi. Time and previous owners are starting to show and im thinking about taking off the original fairings and repairing them. Look at a set of Fast Fairings aftermarket plastics. Has anyone here had any experience with them or can you make other recommendations. Im based in Ireland. Thanks
Been practicing a lot on my first bike! Still learning but was able to go 15 mph in a parking lot the other day! Pretty proud of myself! I’m getting it - just taking it slow ☺️
Mods are nice but a good rider can make it happen with a brand new completely stock crf300l
Hi everyone,
I’m seriously considering buying a Honda NC750X, but there’s a catch – I have no way to test ride or even sit on one, because there are very few of them where I live.
I’m hoping you can help me figure out if this bike will fit me before I commit to buying one.
My measurements:
· Height: 170 cm (about 5'7")
· Inseam: 79 cm (about 31 inches)
· Weight: 73 kg (about 160 lbs)
I know the seat height is listed at 800 mm, and my main concern is whether I’ll be able to get both feet down confidently. I ride a lot in city traffic, so I’m constantly stopping at lights and putting my feet down – I’d really prefer to flat-foot or get very close to it with both feet, not just tiptoe.
So my questions for you:
Based on my measurements, do you think I’ll be able to comfortably reach the ground with both feet? Will the suspension sag help enough?
Have any riders around my height (or with a similar inseam) made it work without lowering the bike?
If possible, could you please post a photo of yourself sitting on an NC750X while touching the ground with both feet? Seeing real-world examples of how someone my height fits on this bike would help enormously.
Thanks a lot in advance – I really appreciate any insight or advice you can share!
This is my Aspy, I picked it up back in 2017 off a friend. I mostly have ridden sport bikes, and never consider owning something like this. My friend was selling it, he let me borrow it for the weekend, and I fell in love with it and he priced it to me so cheap i couldn't pass it up. It has only 32k miles, and unmolested, even had the OEM plugs. I decided it's a forever moto for me, and have done a bunch of mods, and serviced it. Now it's got 40k and is still going strong.
Been a minute since we chilled so me and homie tried Bike Night at the Harley Dealer. 😂 We fit right in!
