OP turned 40 today! I was to get a Rolex for my birthday but ended up getting one 4 months before my birthday! Added another watch to my collection just for fun! Trying it on! Will wear to work tomorrow:)

I was fortunate to be part of an industry where we select few were hosted at a property at foothills overlooking Shivalik hills in Himachal! Event had top decision makers from fintech, health tech and ecomm. I was keenly observing their watches. Out of 30 people , I saw about 4-5 wearing smart watches, some wore brands like fossil, Armani and Gucci, while about 12-15 of them were wearing Tissot while I wore my Tudor GMT white Pepsi. These guys have an average salary ranging between 80L to 2 Cr. It’s interesting how Tissot has captured the corporate workforce. At my workplace I have few watch enthusiasts they mostly have Rolex, Panerai, Hublot or and others all Tissot! Every time I’m at ethos, just in time or any Multi brand store I see atleast 2 people paying at the cash counter for a Tissot watch. Why is Seiko not getting this kind of popularity in people!

Sounds repetitive but pictures don’t do justice to the dial! It really feels occult and dark… in a satanic kind of way, the dial really draws you in!
