if he woke up to find Seoul completely empty

As he walked around the deserted city, he saw something that made him instantly break into a cold sweat. The bodies of Seoul's people had been impaled one after another in a perfectly straight line through their bodies.

As he walked past them, he suddenly recognized one of the bodies it was a member of his own family, their body suspended by their intestines.

Then he saw the bodies of entire gangs, their headless corpses impaled and fused together, forming a grotesque mass that looked like a cube of flesh.

There’s an NPC who says, “So he was alive?” This could imply that something happened during Gen 0 that made everyone believe Elite was dead. Maybe he even faked his death, who knows?

If you look closely, there seems to be some kind of mark or scar on Elite’s right arm. It almost looks like a cut or some sort of injury.

So I’m thinking something might have happened to Elite during Gen 0 that caused him to lose his arm and made everyone believe he had died. Or maybe he deliberately faked his death.

It could’ve happened around the time he betrayed the Fist Gang. Maybe something happened after that which led everyone to assume he was dead.

What do you guys think?
