MKT app issues
Hey guys, I use the app with my 1 account on 2 different iPhones. I have been trying to access/play the game several times over the last hour (5pm + on July 3rd, 2026). The app has crashed/is not usable. I’m able to use any other apps requiring internet including streaming videos….
Just wondering if this is happening to anyone else!

Will We Ever Get Free Choice of Tracks?
Granted I've been OOTL on the game for a while. But I just hopped back in and it looks like we still can't just decide to play a random track if we feel like it. I would legit pay money to have a version of this game that, like previous Mario Kart games, lets you just pick a random course whenever you feel like it. Especially right now when it's basically just the same three tracks with variations (R, R / T, T) and they're all night tracks, it starts to feel kinda frustrating to open the app and know my only option is to play a very limited number/style of track when I might want to play Maple Treeway or Airship Fortress. I'm honestly glad the game even still exists, but this is the one thing missing for it to really be one of my personal favorites, and keep me coming back daily rather than just checking in every so often.

Version Update
There's an update to a new .0 version next week, as per the message above. Does anyone know what this contains? I was under the impression that Nintendo weren't updating the game any more. Also wondering what timezone the update is taking place in. Would be grateful if anyone knows this too.

If you multiple something by 1 you get the same number, so surely it can't mean that's what happens here.

Should I buy the Chain Chomp Chariot or the Rainbow Flappy Wings (or perhaps both)?
I haven’t unlocked both yet as I’m trying to save for the next time the New Year’s 2022 glider appears as a glider that can be purchased with rubies (for whatever reasons, the New Year’s 2020, the New Year’s 2021 and the New Year’s 2023 gliders started appearing in the Daily Spotlight of previous tours and I’ve been collecting all of them for collection purposes. The New Year’s 2022 glider is my last missing of the 4 New Year’s glider type though idk when this glider will eventually appear or even appear as a purchasable glider). But according to you MKT players, what would be the best choice here (between the Chain Chomp Chariot or the Rainbow Flappy Wings)?

Friends. Is it worth the hassle?
Been playing for years. I have only one in-game “friend”. I think it’s a Nintendo employee — something they do so that everyone can get the “Send greeting coins to a friends” challenge.
Is having a bunch of friends worth the hassle of clicking through each one and tapping the send coins button? I mean, it’s more an issue of time than effort but it’s also not a lot of payoff if/when they send you coins. Assuming 20 friends jump the hoops daily, that’s still only 100 coins a day. Should I bother trying to add more friends?
