Hi guys, I have Z20 soarer. For those models there was no LHD headunits. I need to convert them with some kind of bracket that will cover part of bulb to get the MOT. Does someone done something similar on other old JDM for such years and has a template to cutoff the bracket?
i need to get a new condenser dryer and the hard lines that connect to the condenser ols lmk if any website sells them new ive cheked: rock auto, drift motion (i can get the drier there), night runn garage.
Hey, guys just bought my mk3 supra 7m-gte. I'm trying to repair it myself as much as I can without any mechanical experience. I did for now a fuel filter change, oil and oil filter change and after I started my engine up I hear some snapping noises behind the 3000 pipe and when I came from the front it sounds like it kinda knocks, besides that my rpm on idle are pretty low about 500 or even lower do you have any idea what can it be?
Came across these guys on my 7:30am shopping trip.
After getting robbed by a local shop and sitting for 6 years after that, me and my best friends got serious traction on this revival. I have so much oil to clean up but I’m so happy.
Will finish dropping it in tomorrow then we got fuel lines, wiring harness, and other miscellaneous things to modify.
I’d greatly appreciate any assistance you can provide. My driver’s seatbelt won’t retract, and I’m completely clueless about how to use the cruise control. I’ve tried pressing every cruise control button while driving, but none of them seem to work? Thanks.
I had a no start problem that was originally the fuel pump, but after addressing that, it persisted and I figured out the injectors werent firing. I took them out/cleaned tested them and they all work. They are getting 12v from the harness. I tested the resistance they each read 4.6 ohms, which I know is technically above spec. Is that enough to make them not fire? Anything else I am missing? I have spark

The friction disc didn't have a flywheel side labelled so I went with the flat side towards the flywheel, spring/bump towards the pressure plate and now I'm not sure.
The pressure plate does not sit flush with the flywheel and the friction disc spins when I turn the engine over as per the video.
Is this normal?
I’m on the brink of buying an mk3. Here good ones are around 20k€. But now I’m kinda getting cold feet since this would be the first proper car I would buy outside of regular cars. The buying guides I read didn’t make it better since they basicly said, every Supra will either have a damaged Headgasket or will have one in the near future. Almost all of them would be rusting etc.
And I’m not a mechanic, I’m into cars and how engines work but have never REALLY worked on a car besides changing oil, sparkplugs, valve cover gaskets and stuff like that.
Should I stay away from a Supra or am I overthinking it?
Can’t believe I actually js did a whole ass head gasket rebuild first time ever working on a car did piston rings since I was already down there but car doesn’t wanna idle dies as soon as I stop hitting throttle and revs die pretty sure I got a massive air leak

I believe this was a vanity plate installed by a dealership and I’ve only seen one listing from some dickhead who refused to reply to me. Anyone know where I can find one? Or even custom make one in the same font?
Anyone know where I can get a cold start injector line in Canada? I know drifting motion has one but it’s $30usd and cheapest shipping is 47usd before I pay I’m just wondering if anyone has a better solution. Hose and fitting company close by doesn’t go that small. I’m in BC Canada
