250 Anniversary case back
Hi
I am thinking of doing a limited run (250) of this case back engraving for stainless steel Mission watch upgrade. It would have a serial number at the bottom. Would be available on any solid back case.
Thoughts please?

Gotta show some of the customers ideas that i had a privilege of building. Some very nice combos.
Beautiful build by u/trevordeal. Gen Moonswatch steel swap. Reach out to him and get one of his great builds. Wonderful to work with, a genius builder!
Rep Mission to Mars with a Megir case and a NATO step. All made in China as is tradition.
Just FYI, the seller is "swatch1". It's really terrible, I paid 30€ for it. Reminds me back when the copy machines you copied a copy of a copy
Thanks folks…I might need an intervention. Mixing and matching cases / straps. Everything other than the real 1965 from Ali or DH.
Which one do you like best? Dislike most? Clause - the pink purple one was to match my daughter’s current hair. A bit extra I know.
I don’t know if this is allowed because this is actually not a moon switch but it is a royal pop switch. I thought it was the same idea so I thought I would share. I took a fake royal pop took the dial off, added to it NH 35 and was able to reuse the world pop cover for the back well not cover but sticker for the back you won’t be able to use the other parts as it will hit the rotor if you do.
A beautiful Gen Moonswatch swap by a great builder U/treavordeal
Guys reach out and give him some love. Gentlemen and all around super guy to deal with
A bit pricey but the upside would be the subdials work correctly and the dial qc? Btw I just have a suede strap thrown on it rn. Is it one of those things where it doesn’t really make sense to use genuine?
My PD-1701 case finally arrived, so I decided to swap in my replica MoonSwatch with the Snoopy & Woodstock fantasy dial.
Overall, the swap was pretty straightforward. Since the Pagani uses a VK63 movement, I was able to reuse the same 33mm movement spacer and VK63 stem that’s commonly used for VK63 case swaps.
One thing I really like is that the PD-1701 case isn’t as thick as the typical VK63 cases, giving it a much nicer profile on the wrist. The case, bracelet, and overall finishing are also a significant upgrade over the Megir donor watch swaps I’ve done in the past.
The swap wasn’t quite as quick as the Megir conversion—which only takes about five minutes—but it was still very manageable. I had to trim the VK63 stem to the correct length and reuse the Pagani crown to achieve a clean, factory-like fit and finish.
I’m really happy with how this one turned out. It feels much more substantial and premium than the Megir-based build and not as bulky as the VK63 cases.
What’s your favorite case swap?
Here is my Gulf Inspired Moonswitch, thought I'd share in case anyone else wants to try it.
Smaller Crown (not needed but preferred)
Movement Holder - 33mm x 6mm
Subdial hands - Option 4
Hour and Minute Hands - Option 2
Orange Chronograph Hand - Select Miyota 8215/ Mingzhu DG2813 option
Finally switched up my 1965. My new favourite until I make another. Notice the second hand
All these are customer watches. June was a busy month with some great builds. 🚀

I guess once you start, it gets really addictive.
Here’s my second steel case conversion: Mission to Pluto replica. I wanted to keep the original look while giving it a more substantial feel on the wrist.
Wassup, I wanted to also share my first project, I know it's nothing crazy but I'm curious to hear your thoughts I went all in and bought VK63 watch case in steel with convex glass. Of course the watch is a replica with a sunon pe50 movement, based on 1965 Omega x Moonswatch Speedmaster look.
I paired it with thicker, more elegant yet a bit sporty strap. Personally, I think it looks very classy and It's definitely staying on the wrist for now. The project isn't done yet and here's what's done and what's planned:
- Omega branded crown (6.5mm which I think looks a bit better than the stock one that came with the watch case (check first picture)
- New strap is installed, but I'm planning to order a decent quality bracelet for it soon. It's very hard to find a branded one cheap so I'll probably go for a generic simple speedmaster with solid links.
- Maybe I'll find some better hands but they are quite uncommon on aliexpress.
- The original caseback broke (Eyes on the stars) so I'll probably make a custom Lockheed Martin Skunk Works / Top Gun logo
- Disable the right dial completely so it resembles the original MoonSwatch more faithfully.
What do you guys think? Any protips ? I finally like that timepiece because it has some weight to it and feels like a proper watch now . Best wrist beater "replica". It's cheap, reliable and battery operated. The movement is widely available and can be bought for pennies. Easy to maintain and very beginner friendly. Let me know if you have any questions ! Cheers ! (If your're from Poland and need any help, hit me up !)
Been toying with changing reps around and this one is the simplest so far but for some reason it’s my favorite. Just a 1965 placed in a Mission to Moon case. Thoughts?
