Will NPB season have started by late March 2027? (Fukuoka trip)

Hey all! I'm planning a 16-day trip to Kyushu in March 2027, ending with 3 nights in Fukuoka around March 27th before flying home on March 28, 2027.

I know no one can predict the exact future schedule, but I'm having trouble finding past Hawks schedules to estimate the likelihood of games falling within that window. It looks like the 2026 season opened on March 27, 2026.

A few questions:

  • Does anyone know if the 2027 season will have started by March 27, 2027?
  • Is there any way to know in advance if there will be a home Fukuoka game around that date?
  • What are the odds of securing a ticket for opening day as a foreigner? I'm assuming it'll be busy.

Baseball is one of my great loves, and attending a Japanese game is a bucket list item for me. Thanks so much for any insights!

Pro Spirits 2026

Hi everyone I have been interested in buying the Japanese deluxe edition of Pro Spirits 2026 so I can play the WBC but was wondering if the Japanese version would still have the English language option. I apologize if this isn't the place to ask or if someone has asked previously.

Purchased a ticket from StubHub for Tokyo Giants game — concerned about entry

Hey all —

I unfortunately made the mistake of using StubHub to buy tickets to see the Giants; I know this is against most people's advice but unfortunately didn't do my research. I have the tickets in my Apple Wallet with QR code, but I translated the info on the ticket and it (a) says someone else's name and (b) has a bit about transfer for profit being unauthorized, and buyer's name being confirmed.

Will this be an issue? Really hoping not as all games are sold out now and I was really hoping to see a game. If anyone has been to a game at the Tokyo game and could advise, it would be much appreciated!
