Does anyone care about tracking how much light you receive in a day?

During winter, my friend in the UK uses light meter app to track lux. However, it is not accurate and very annoying to take out a phone to track it everytime, and you dont know if you receive enough light.

Therefore, I want to develop a glasses that can track Melanopic EDI (how light affects the human body clock) 24/7 to see whether you receive enough light in the day and too much light at night. My friend loves the idea. I don't know if there is enough demand for this. What do y'all think of this idea? You can also roast it. Any feedback would be appreciated. Cheers :)

give me your most unhinged advice

seriously, i don’t care WHAT it is as long as it works.

for context i’m a 20F college student and will be at college during most of the winter. winter eats me alive with a horrible depression every year and im very unamused by the fact that the almanac predicts a LONGER winter this year. SAD caused by past trauma + inherited genetically + etc.
i’m also managing my regular depression and anxiety with 100mg of Zoloft/sertraline daily.
im just dreading this upcoming winter so bad. every year i think to myself “i can’t do this again”.

any advice helps, thank you guys so much for being here ❤️

It’s August and I’m already worried for autumn/winter

For some reason this year, I feel I have been counting down the days to the end of summer more than ever and the fact it is now August is starting to stress me out.

I just don’t want summer to end because I know from the autumn I start to feel depressed. I’m already feeling down about feeling down!
