Does anyone care about tracking how much light you receive in a day?

During winter, my friend in the UK uses light meter app to track lux. However, it is not accurate and very annoying to take out a phone to track it everytime, and you dont know if you receive enough light.

Therefore, I want to develop a glasses that can track Melanopic EDI (how light affects the human body clock) 24/7 to see whether you receive enough light in the day and too much light at night. My friend loves the idea. I don't know if there is enough demand for this. What do y'all think of this idea? You can also roast it. Any feedback would be appreciated. Cheers :)

I used to wear blue light blockers. Most nights they make me feel tired way too early, like they're overcorrecting. Also, some nights I want to continue to work at night but minimize the disruption of the lights. I started wondering if the problem isn't blue-light blocking itself, but that it's completely one-size-fits-all.

I've been researching whether a more personalized approach to managing light exposure could actually work — something that tracks how much light you actually get during the day and blocks blue light gradually, adapting to the environment and your sleep schedule. But I genuinely don't know if people would wear something like that daily, or if fixed-tint glasses are "good enough" for most people.

A few questions for anyone who's tried to manage their light exposure:

Hey guys,

I'm tinkering with a hardware idea and I want some brutal honesty before I sink money into prototyping it.

I love float tanks and meditation, but booking a tank is expensive and a hassle. I was looking for a way to replicate that deep sensory reset at home.

The idea: A neck/body floaty that has built-in bone conduction speakers designed specifically for audio entrainment (AVE/binaural beats). Because sound travels incredibly well through water and bone, it basically turns a normal pool or bathtub into a highly immersive meditation tank. It bypasses waterproof earbuds completely (which I hate because they never stay sealed).

You get the weightlessness of the water paired with the brainwave sync of the audio.

Would you actually buy something like this for recovery/relaxation? Is it too gimmicky? Tear the idea apart, I want to hear the downsides.
